Today I have a sneak peek of the new "I Love Love" set, which is available for purchse on May 10th at the SP and Company store.  This is a set you do not want to miss out on.  I used it on every single page of this mini fold album I am about to show you and I'm telling you, I LOVE the "I Love Love" set!!!

A little background about this fold album.  I first saw the idea on the Poppy Paperie blog by Lisa Johnson.  I kept the idea in the back of my head, waiting for the perfect time to actually use it.  When I got my stamp set in the mail, I knew that the time had arrived.  I made the album for a Mother's Day gift, showcasing my kids.  Is there a better definition of "Love" out there than kids? I don't think so!!!

There are a lot of pictures, so get ready!!!

Love was the title of this mini album, so I had the word "love" in the album as much as I could!

I used the "Lovely Labels" stamp set on this page with a die cut butterfly and fun flocked brad.

This time, I used "I Love Love" to stamp on the flower.  I honestly have to say that SP stamps really do stamp awesome.  The quality is incredible.

This time, I used a cute digi stamp from SP, "Little Birdie 1."  I colored her in with Copics.  So sweet!

Ah, now onto one of my FAVORITE stamps in the set.  The XO's are AWESOME! The are great for backgrounds, borders, anything, you name it! Here, I used it diagonally across the background, behind some chipboard lettering.

Detail of the pinwheel I made:

The pinwheel was a fun little touch - I also stamped one of the "Love" sentiments in the center and embellished it with a pearl.

On the last page, I thought it would be appropriate to have the date on there and one more "Love" sentiment.  I kept this as CAS (Clean and Simple) as I could.  Too many embellies made it too thick.  On my first attempt, I made the spine of the cover too small, so I had to redo the cover and make it larger to accomodate for the dimensionals that made the pages thicker.

Did you think I was done?

I also made a cute basket to put the album in!!!

I wanted to use the "Love" inside one of the "Lovely Labels."  I punched out the center of the label and replaced it with some vellum.  Vellum is one of my favorite stocks.  I'd use it everyday if I didn't keep myself under control!  :-)

PHEW! That's it! I hope you were inspired!!!

Now it's time for you to head on over to Emily's super fantastic blog to continue on with the SP and Co. Hop!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!!
