New Release Day and Blog Hop!

Hi, hi, hi!
I'm so excited t share my second stamp set with you today!!! It's called All Zipped Up and I love it! It just so happens that zippers are becoming the trend right now (and so are pockets!), so this set is a must-have!!!

The pocket is the PERFECT size to hold a gift card and the zipper is set up to do some 2-step stamping! That way, you can use the inside and outside together or separately.

Now, onto the deets of the hop:

This month's color is Green in honor of St. Patrick's Day! After you're done hopping around today, make sure you play along with this month's Green challenge (click here for details) for a chance to win some awesome SP and Company prizes!

Join us for our Release Celebration that is happening today and tomorrow on the SP Forum HERE.  You can talk to all of the designers, discuss projects and chit chat with other stampers!

Don't forget that the random prize patrol is watching so leave a comment on every blog to be eligible for the prizes!! The more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are of winning something fun!

Time to share the fun projects I created with this set!!!

Remember how I said the pocket is the perfect size for a gift card? Here's an example of it!!! And of course, you can use other background stamps to make your pocket look super cool - Jean-style (using the denim Copic Marker technique), gingham, stripes, anything! So many fun possibilities! You can even stitch over the current faux stitching and make it look more realistic.  This is so great for both masculine and feminine cards.  And who doesn't love to get gift cards?!

And, of course, you can leave the pocket empty and have something else fun pop out.  Like how about a beautiful flower, a cute little critter or real pencils for a teacher or student???? And how about those fun polka dotted and striped patterned stocks? They are from (swoon) Echo Park.  Don't forget that you can get a ton of amazing papers and other goodies when you sign up to be a Kit Club Member.  Echo Park is probably my favorite company out there for patterned papers, so I totally would recommend this!!! And they do sell out fast, so if you're thinking about it, do it (yes, I'm an enabler)!!!!

I also have a card using the zipper to share with you!

For this one, I chose to use my Copics to color in the zipper, but don't forget about the two-step stamping! How fun would it be to emboss the zipper in silver?! :-)

And for my last card, I wanted to share one of the fun sentiments - "Good Luck".

This one was so simple.  I just punched out some hearts and make them look like shamrocks.  I added some paint on the back and stamped the sentiment.  Quick and easy, but it has a real pop to it!

Make sure you check out the SP Blog to see what Samantha did with the new stamps! We also have the Stamp Team and the Challenge Team teaming up today to show you lots of amazing projects with the newest stamp sets!
