BE Inspired #22

I'm participating  in The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge again - woot, woot! I love, love, love the inspiration picture.  When I first saw it, I was a little scared - I never, ever use bright green... But, then, the more I looked at it, I fell in love with it!

Here's my take:

The paper I used was actually a bright, almost neon green, but for some reason, my camera just wouldn't capture the colors right.  I created a background using Petal Pushers.  I started from the inside and worked my way out so the placement of the flowers would look like a natural pattern.  I also traced around each flower with a gray Spectrum Noir marker to give it a little pop.

I colored in the flowers with Prismacolor pencils and I paper pieced just a few of the centers and popped them up.

I also chose to make the card square, in honor of that cute little square end table in the image.

Thanks for stopping by - make sure you check out The Alley Way Stamps blog for more inspiration and the details on this challenge!
