BE Inspired #40

Hi!
I'm playing along with The Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired Challenge! I especially love the inspiration picture this time around.  Why? Because I love all things Fall and Halloween (hence the name of my blog, HA!).

And here's my take:

The tree on the door reminded me of the spiderweb from Ghoul-Friend.  And instead of stamping it in black, I had to do something different.  I heat embossed it in white, then used my Spectrum Noir marker (LG1) and the coordinating Blender to create a light green halo around the web.

I colored in the mummy (also from Ghoul-Friend) and fussy cut him out.  I thought the pop of orange would be pretty fun (I created my own enamel dots, which I learned to do from Alison's video) and the polka dots really pull it all together.

Thanks for stopping by!
