Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop!

It's that time again - Papertrey Ink's Blog Hop! Woo hoo!! This month, the challenge was to use scallops.  Since I happen to love scallops and I use them all the time, this one was right up my alley!


I used Background Basics: Sheet Music for the background and the Bitty Birds set for the sentiment and main focal image.  I tried to challenge myself by not using any premade patterned paper.  I wanted to make my own patterns and I did!

I used a QuickKutz die for the scalloped circle and I punched the little holes around the edges to give it a little something extra.  The edge of the card was created by using a PTI die.



I had to use fun, bright colors for this one to combat the wintery weather we're having here in Chicago.  It seems like snow is predicted almost every day.  I'm ready for Spring!

    Great card! I've used the bitty bird stamp set SO much lately. I like how you stamped the tree onto the card and then again into the circle.
