I wanted to share a card I created that focuses on using the negative space from a die cut!
I die cut the flowers using this die. Underneath it, on the base of the card, I stamped a few daisies from Sheena's Paint Fusion: Daises (Crafter's Companion). I colored them in using my Spectrum Noirs (BP5, BP7, CT4, GB5). I specifically chose really, really bright colors for two reasons: . I'm loving the Neon Trend right now and the SN Brights set has some fabulous Neon colors in it; 2. I knew the bright colors would really pop out since they are partially hidden behind a die cut.
I only colored in what would show through (what a time saver!) and the sentiment is from Beatrix Potter: A Winter's Tale set. I adhered the die cut sheet with foam adhesive and added some bling from my stash to finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
