My little girl (who is three) has really gotten into crafting! She's always sat with me and colored or watched what I'm doing, but I recently let her try out some stamps and she did surprisingly well with them! Talk about making my heart swell. :)
She made a card using some Alley Way Stamps (Petal Pushers) and some We R Memory Keepers washi tape. I even let her use some of my Spectrum Noir markers (well supervised, of course!). I told her she could enter a SSS challenge and she was so excited!
OK, not sure she really knows what a challenge is.... But I'll take it!!!!!!!!!
And she really and truly did it all herself. The only thing I helped with was cutting and scoring the card base and ripping the washi tape off (it was on a dispenser and I didn't want her to get cut). She inked up the images, stamped and colored them all on her own.
And here she is, using her own camera to take pictures of her project. She was mad that I took pictures before she did. The joys of toddler-hood, right?!?! :)
