Love how you used those fun bubble letters! My favorite b-day memory is when I turned 30. Everyone at work kept wishing me a happy birthday. I kept wondering how they knew. When I left work, I found out how! My hubby had written all type of b-day wishes on my card with balloons! Yep...what a fun day!

ReplyDeleteOh...and favorite birthday memory....my son's first. Seeing a lil one all covered in cake is just too precious♥
Great fun getting all with the gelatos.
ReplyDeleteLove the card and the stamp set you're giving away.
ReplyDeleteI have fond memories of my 50th birthday party. No fuss at home, but celebrating Greek style with a traditional Greek meal (mezedes) in a local taverna run by Greek friends, with a small group of people and lots of wine and live music.
Pretty card! I love the watercolor look and bold yellow!
ReplyDeleteFave birthday memory.... I was having a slumber party when I was around 10. My Mom decided to cut my hair the day before. Not a good idea. It looked like the typical "bowl over the head" hairdo.... so the morning of the party, I had to go to the beauty parlor and get my haircut fixed! Not particularly a fun memory, but I always think of it when I think of my birthday!
I loooove watercolor backgrounds! And my sweetest memory is my 18th birthday party with friends, then a family party in the forest! We got fun 2 days long)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite birthday memory is attending a friend's surprise 60th birthday party. All the guests were hiding downstairs in the family room and his wife sent him downstairs on an errand and when we all yelled "surprise", he was so shocked that he ran back upstairs in a bit of a panic. Took him a few minutes to settle down and return to the party.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite b-day memory is of my family's brightly colored mug with "Happy Birthday" written across it - You only got to use the mug on your b-day, and when you got up in the morning, it had already been placed on your placemat at the table... a small pleasure, but a treasured memory.

ReplyDeletemy fav birthday memory is my 50th party. two things gave me a really good laugh 1. my dh was in charge of the cake. he didn't realize that meant the candles too so being a quick thinker my friend geta a 3 and an 8 from her kids party days and get 12 tealights to make it 50 (3 8 +12 = 50) 2. most of by friends are of similar age and we played a game that I played in college a lot. we use to toss popcorn up in the air and catch it. the winner of the game at my part got all the way up to ... wait for it ... wait for it ... 3.
ReplyDeleteMy fave BD memory is from college when my BF at the time (now my hubby of 33 yrs!) and my roommate made a treasure hunt for me with clues that took me all over our little college town and ended up back on campus with a cake with all our friends. So thoughtful and so much fun!!!
