Papertrey Ink March Blog Hop!

Hi! I'm playing along in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!

This month, the inspiration is Stitching! I created a card using the Seasonal Stitching: Birds Die Collection.  I die cut some Fairfield Oly*Fun Material.  This is similar to fabric, but cuts like paper! I simply filled it with stuffing and stitched it up using embroidery floss.



For the rest of the card, I used the Button Boutique set and the Buttoned Up #1 die.  The sentiment is from Mega Mixed Messages.  This was only my second attempt at using embroidery floss and I was happy with the results!

    Sweet Easter card! I love all the elements from the buttions to the chick to the three cross stitches joining the side panel to the main panel!

    Oh, such a sweet bird. Love your pink stitching on the bird, and the cross-stitch detail that draws my eye to the sentiment! Oly-Fun was a great idea to use for this.
