Catherine Pooler Party Collection: Spring Fling Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Spring Fling Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Ingrid's blog! I have lots of inspiration to share today! I really had a good time creating using the new inks, stamps and dies.

For my first project, I really wanted to showcase the inks, so I used a blender with a scrap piece of paper to make sure they were the highlight of this card!

Inks Used: Bellini, Melon Ice, Pixie Dust, It's A Boy, Garden Party

Stamps Used: Simply Stated, Beautiful You

Next, because I can't resist flicking inks onto watercolor paper... I used the new inks as watercolors and painted them onto the stamped images and background with a waterbrush.

I wanted to create a softer card using the Mother's Day sentiment, so I did just that! I gently blended the inks together with a blender and masked off part of the card panel using a scrap piece of paper.

Inks Used: It's A Girl, Bellini, Melon Ice, Sweet Sixteen

Stamps Used: Simply Stated

Finally, I created two circular shaker cards! These are my favorites, for sure! I think the pop of black in the sentiments just really accentuates the soft pastel ink colors.  I die cut the sentiments with adhesive on both the front and back, so I could add glitter to the fronts and easily adhere them on the back.
