Zen Garden Blog Hop Day Two

Hi!

Welcome to day two of the Zen Garden Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from my good friend Laurel's blog.

This collection is so much fun! I rally had a blast creating and creating and creating! If you want the entire collection, click HERE for simple 1-click buying!

Let's get right to it! I've created a few cards (I did post one yesterday, too, so scroll down or click here if you missed it... And more to come, wink, wink!) using the new Zen Garden Collection.  This Collection couldn't be more fun! Today we are featuring the Love Grows Stamp Set and coordinating Dies!

For my first card, I used the Love Grows stamp set, along with the Chevron Cheer stamp set.  I also used the You die cut and Shea Butter, Polished and Midnight inks.

I think the color combo is just too fun! It makes me think of the sunset at the beach!

Next, I wanted a spring themed card (I can only dream that Spring will be here soon in Chicago).  I used Rose Petals ink to create the color on the card base, along with Shea Butter, Seafoam, Polished, Midnight and Sugared Lavender.  I strictly used the Love Grows stamp set to create this simple scene.  Instead of sequins or dots, I used the stamp set to create faux embellishments.

My final card is simple, but I think packs a lot of pop.  I stuck only with Polished and Shea Butter inks to create an ombre effect by blending them together.  I used the flowers again in the Love Grows stamp set and the Smile die to complete the card.

P.S. I did ALL of my stamping using the amazing stamping block in CP's store.  They are the perfect size! There is a 5 Block Bundle that I feel is an essential.  I have one set and I am going to buy another set for my daughter to use.

Next up is Jenny!
