Welcome to Day Two of the Tropically Yours Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Catherine's blog!
I'm excited to share a few cards today that I created with this amazing collection. I don't like to play favorites, but I feel like this one was made just for me, personally. :)
For this card, I used the new Fearless Pursuit stamp set. How fabulous is that sentiment? I created it by combining Pixie Dust and Royal Treatment inks. The card base was creating using the same combo. I made the background with the amazing Canvas Grunge Background and trees from Fearless Pursuit in Shea Butter.
For this card, I wanted to have just a few pops of color. So, I stamped the background images from Leave Me In Paradise in Black Jack and the edge image from Good Vibes in Midnight. I stamped the flowers in Limoncello, Aquatini, Grass Skirt and Lime Rickey and die cut them using the coordinating add-on die (Leave Me in Paradise). I heat embossed the flamingo from Stand Tall and die cut that out. I watercolored him in using the new Coral Cabana and Sauna.
I wanted this card to focus on die cuts more than stamps. I created the background using Grape Crush, Coral Cabana and Limoncello. I stamped the sentiment from Tropically Yours in Midnight. Then, I die cut the palm tress from the add-on Fearless Pursuit die. I cut out the beach by hand.
GET ON THE WAIT LIST NOW!!!!
Good luck!!!
