The new One Plus One Collection from Catherine Pooler is available in the shop! Squee! This release is really so much fun! I was able to work with the Oh, Baby bundle and I had a blast!
I used the Nested Stitched Hearts die as a mask for this card. I know - you don't see the stitching this way, but I like to stretch my supplies. I used it as a normal heart! I just die cut it out of masking paper and placed that paper on my card panel. I added Suede Shoes, Queen for a Day and All That Jazz inks over the mask. When I pulled that mask off, this is the result:
I am just loving the way the inks blend so seamlessly together! I stamped the kitty from Oh Baby, which was done with 2 step stamping. I did the outline first in Black Jack, then came back with the nose and ears in Be Mine. I added some shading by using Twilight.
Simple, but fun and effective! Plus, I created this card to be used for multiple occasions. Yes, it can be for a baby, but it can be for anyone that loves animals, a new pet or just a general cutie congrats!
