Brambly Hedge Release!

Hi! Have you seen some of the newest releases over at the Crafter's Companion store?

The Brambly Hedge line just released some new sets and they are really super cute! The set I'm sharing today is called the High Hills.  It was hard to choose, but I think the books are my favorite image from this particular set!

I created a window to for the sentiment to sneak through using the Die'Sire Rectangles die.  I inked up the sentiment area with Distress Ink (Squeezed Lemonade).

I used Vintage Photo to distress the background and colored everything in with my Spectrum Noir Markers (IG1, IG3, CT3, TB2, TB3, TN4, TN7, TN3, DR6, CT4, TN8, TB5, TB4, IG4).

Brambly Hedge Sneak Peek!

Hi! Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of the newest Brambly Hedge Collection to arrive in the Crafter's Companion Store!

This image really spoke to me - we spent a week at the beach in North Carolina last month, and we all still have beach life on the brain.  I colored in that sweet little mouse from Sea Story using both Spectrum Noir Markers (sand): TN3, TN4, TN7 and Blendable Pencils: 

Mouse: 114, 115, 010, 013, 047
Sand/Bucket: 088, 090, 065, 067, 025, 032, 013
Shells: 035, 094, 065, 114, 046, 078, 015, 100

For the waves, I used an embossing folder I had on hand by Darice and cut around some of the waves. Then I added some Frosted Lace Stickles to make it pop.  I cut the sentiment out using my Die'Sire Essentials Rectangle Die and added some Broken China and Vintage Photo Distress Inks to the image.

Especially for you....

I have another Brambly Hedge sneak for you, but you don't have to wait too long to see the full collection! It comes out this week!

For this card, I wanted to go neon and show off my Spectrum Noir Markers (Brights).  Neon is so hot right now and there are tons of bright neons in that set!

I added some enamel dots to give a little extra something to the card and I embossed a rectangle in the background using my Ultimate Tool.

Brambly Hedge Sneak!

Hi!
Time for another Sneak Peek! The new (and soooo adorable) Brambly Hedge is coming out next week and I get to show you a little sneak of it!

I stamped the basket and die cut it out.  It's colored using Spectrum Noir markers and then Broken China Distress Ink for the background.  I also added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to make the strawberries pop!

The sentiment is from the free stamp set that comes with the Crafter's Companion Magazine Subscription (UK).  And how much fun is that Lattice embossing? I partially embossed the bottom of the card to make it look like the bottom of a basket!
