{Embellish Magazine} Color Challenge

I'm participating in the Embellish Magazine Color Challenge.  Details for the challenge can be found HERE.  This one really forced me to go out of my comfort zone.  I had to use felt (which I just started using) and I had to use a color scheme I wouldn't normally choose.  The inspiration picture is below:

And here is the card that I came up with:

The "Thanks so Much" is stamped in Fresh Snow ink onto felt.  I distressed the edges of the card and I stamped the flourish and the big flower in red, then in brown.  It was easy peasy!

{Embellish Magazine} Color Challenge

Here comes another challenge! Every time I see one posted, I want to participate, but I'm not always able to! Today, I'm off of work, so I was able to take some time to make a card for the Embellish Magazine color challenge.  I have to say that I don't normally use these colors together, but once I started on this project, I realized that I LOVE this combo!!!!

I used Papertrey Ink stamps, along with Kraft and Bazzill cardstock, with Prima Flowers and a Prima Frame for the embellishments.  Here is the finished piece:
