The Gemini is Almost Here!

Hi! The Gemini from Crafter's Companion will be available in the store later this week!

I created this box using the Gemini to die cut the leaves (Wildflower Trio Dies), butterfly (Delicate Butterfly Dies) and sentiment (Die'Sire Classiques Only Words Happy Birthday Die). You can see how well it cuts those intricate designs, and it even cuts vellum like butter!

For the box, I created it out of the Elegance 11x17 Paper Pack using the Big Score Board.

Create A Card Base Dies from Crafter's Companion!

Hi! Recently, Crafter's Companion released some Create-A-Card dies.  These dies are pretty stinkin' cool because they create the card bases for you! No more trying to create cool shaped cards by adhering two bases together - it's all done in the cutting!

I created this sweet card inspired by my kiddo! I die cut the base using the Rosie Die, the Elegance 11x17 Paper Pack, and my Gemini. Then I also die cut it a few more times in smaller sizes and cut them apart for the background.

I used the Angelica and Friends: Eleanor EZ Mount Stamp set and I colored everything in with Spectrum Noir Markers PP1, PP2, PP5, CT3, TN7, TN3, FS4, FS6, FS8.

Foiled Gift Box!

Hi!
I just wanted to pop in and share this project I created using some products from Crafter's Companion! These dies were featured on HSN on July 5, when Sara Davies shared all kinds of new goodies.

These dies will all be available soon on the Crafter's Companion website.  HSN might still have some in stock, but things were selling out quickly!

The box was created quickly and easily using the Big Score board and the Elegance Card Pack.

I die cut all of the leaves and branches out with my Gemini using Stick It.  Once everything was cut, I peeled off the release tape and pressed each piece into foil.  Since Stick It is sticky on both sides, I peeled off the back and just stuck the foiled cuts directly onto the box.

The foil is so shimmery and really pops against the softness of the Elegance paper.

Meet the Gemini!

I just wanted to pop in and remind you that Sara Davies of Crafter's Companion will be on HSN this July 6 to share some amazing deals on the Gemini.  I was lucky enough to see this baby in action at the CHA in January and even luckier to get my hands on one to play with!

I can't say enough good things about this product! The only thing I regret is not having one sooner. Having an automatic die cutting machine makes life so much easier for me! :)

In my last post about the Gemini, I shared a project I created with some of the dies that come with the system.  This time, I wanted to show off how easy it is to emboss!

I used one of the included embossing folders for this card. I actually embossed it on the Crafter's Companion Watercolour Cardstock so I could use my Spectrum Aquas (colors used: Blossom, Orange, Yellow, Bud Green, Aquamarine, Purple, Crimson, Red Violet) to softly add color.

To finish off the card, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Downton Abbey EZ Mount Stamp Set A Little Something set and added some thread behind it.

The Gemini is Coming!

In case you've missed it, the Gemini is coming! There will be a huge special on HSN on July 6, 2016, with the always amazing Sara Davies! She will be sharing all of the awesomeness of the Gemini, live!

By using my Gemini, creating this little gift card box was incredibly easy! I used the heart dies that came with the machine (yes, there are dies included!) and just cut a piece of acetate (2 1/8 by 3 5/8) to fit on the inside of the lid.  The paper is from the Indulgence 11x17 paper pack.

I also used my Big Score to score the edges of the box.
