Lawnscaping Challenge #117: Thinking of You

Hello, hello and welcome back to another Lawnscaping Challenge!

For my creation, I used the Good Fortune set along with some pearlescent embossing paste and a stencil. I colored everything in with Spectrum Noir Blendable pencils and I added some silver embossing powder to the paste. I think it gives a really cool effect!

Lawnscaping Challenge # 102: Distress Addicts sponsored by Lawn Fawn

Hello, hello! It's time for another fabulous Lawnscaping Challenge! 

This time, we are going 

Distress CRAZY!

We are sponsored by the always amazing Lawn Fawn! Those folks just rock and they are sponsoring this challenge with a free stamp set of the winner's choice! 

For my creation, I used Distress Markers, Distress Inks AND I distressed the edges of my card! I really tried to push myself with this one.  I don't normally use doilies or my Distress Markers, so I went all out. And that sentiment? It's on clear acetate, to give the card a little extra zing!

To start, I colored onto the Penelope's Blossoms stamp set with Distress Markers, spritzed them with water and then stamped them onto watercolor paper.  I die cut a few extra elements using the coordinating Lawn Cut and added them onto the main bloom with some foam adhesive.

Then, I added Distress ink to the doily, and tried mixing some different patterened papers.  To finish off the card, I distressed the edges and added the sentiment from Birthday Tags with the banner from Good Fortune. 

This one is a bit different than my normal style.  That's a little 'distressing,' isn't it??!?!!? Just kidding! I hope you'll play along with us!

I was inspired by Laurel! Here original post is HERE.  I simply adore her card! So, I TRIED to emulate it.

Mine isn't nearly as cute, but I used the same idea - a masked off pattern.  I used spray mist and the Good Fortune set.

Lawnscaping Challenge #54

Hi!
Welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge!

We are sponsored by Lawn Fawn! Woo hoo!!! And our guest designer is the amazing Jess Larsen, once again! You are going to love her card - go and check it out.


This challenge is all about stitching.  I break out in a cold sweat when I use my sewing machine, so this one was a challenge for me!

I just did one line of stitching to keep it simple.  I used the new Good Fortune and paired it with some patterned paper I've been hoarding from Kaiser Crafts.

I also decided to emboss one side of the card, just to give it a little something extra! I thought it would be a nice touch.
