Pinspired Challenge #14

Hi!
I'm back with another Pinspired Challenge!

We are sponsored by My Time Made Easy again - woo hoo! The winner of this challenge will receive a $10 gift certificate to the My Time Made Easy store.

My Time Made Easy™ LLC provides you with the basics for creating your own coordinating handmade cards, tags, and gift packaging in no time. It is fun, affordable, and we made it easier than ever! I have always said that it really is all about the TOTAL package. Now you can afford to create and dress up the simplest of gifts on your own, and make them appear to be that much more special. Nothing says love like something handmade.

I am now able to offer all the things I have always dreamed of as a customer, and share them with the world!

Our goal is coordinating products with some instant gratification! No more drooling for days over projects you have to wait to buy supplies for! You can purchase our products upon first glance, with all the eye candy to follow.

And now, for the Pinspired Inspiration Badge:

For this project, I was struck by the mix of patterns and multiple items.  So, I decided to mix some patterned paper with texture and ribbon.  I also made a set of three cards to emulate the set of vases in the image.  I used images from the Wonderful Woodland Creatures set and the sentiment is from You've Got Mail.  I colored them all in using my Spectrum Noir Markers and then partially embossed them using THIS impression plate from Papertrey Ink.  Then, I inked around the edges and added the paper and ribbon.  They are all different, but have a similar theme, just like the inspiration picture!

And here are the cards, individually:

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will join and and play along with us at Pinspired!

Pinspired Challenge #13

Challenge #13 is up already at Pinspired Challenges! Where has the time gone? I don't have a brand new project to share today.  We moved back to the neighborhood I grew up in and my crafty things are still semi-packed up.  But my unpacking is getting there, so maybe I will have something to share for a little mid-challenge inspiration, wink, wink!!! :)

I'm sad to sit this one out because we are sponsored by My Time Made Easy, which is one of my favorite companies! I've been lucky enough to be their Graphic Designer for the last year and it has been a wonderful experience.  I can't say enough nice things about Lauren and the entire MTME family!

Use the badge as your inspiration! Create any project you want that is inspired by the image!!!

I created this picnic basket last year using Grammy's Sewing Kit, my Tooty Fruity set and A Picnic of Patterns papers.

9/11 We Remember

9/11

Today is a day of remembrance, and a time to thank all of those who have served our country. Past and present, and future, the word thank you doesn't seem to be enough. Many people have given so much of themselves, to work tirelessly to preserve our freedom and protect our country. Saying thank you doesn't seem to be enough.
Today on 9/11 we take a moment to remember those at the World Trade Center NY in 2001, who lost their lives that day, and the families they left behind. We take another moment to honor all of the individuals who helped that day, and who are, or who have served our country. Today we remember.
In honor of all these individuals and their families My Time Made Easy ™ LLC and Paper Sweeties has organized a Blog Hop with *NEW* products & projects to inspire you to create gifts for our Troops, or that special someone!
Please see what all the following designers have made using the *NEW* products:

Now you are probably excited to see what was released in honor of this special occasion!
*NEW* at My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is an amazing package collection called Made in the USA!

Made in the USA Package $10
As mentioned above, this collection was created in honor of those who have, or who are currently serving our country! This package includes everything you need to create your own amazing gift package! Contents in this collection are the Tough Tank Template, a sheet of Camouflage Digital Paper, and an additional three sheets of patterned paper in red polka dots, yellow stars, and blue stripes, as well as a Set of 31 Digital Images called Made in the USA.
About: Made in the USA Digital Stamp Set: includes a Military Forces tag that can be customized, a saluting soldier silhouette, a Dog Tag, circle flag tag, alphabet for you to create your own tag, as well as a Made in the U.S.A. sentiment.

Tough Tank Pretty Packaging Template
Available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF, WPC
Completed Project Size:
4 3/4 Inches Tall
6 1/2 Inches Wide
7 1/2 Inches Long
This was designed at the request of, and in the honor of Lauren's brother Craig, who served many years in the U.S. Army! He wanted a realistic version of the "real deal" to honor his time spent serving our country! Of course I was up for the challenge, as I think it is an excellent way to honor our troops.
Note: The top of the tank rotates 360 degrees, and comes off the tank, so you can package all sorts of gift items inside the tank.

Now you too can easily re-create this Tough Tank to create your own customized gift package. The perfect container to package up gifts for any of our Troops, maybe for sending a special care package, a great gift option for someone who served, or is serving in the military, or maybe that special child in your life who enjoys playing with Army men, and things of similar nature. Makes an excellent party favor or centerpiece too!

*NEW* at Paper Sweeties in September and available for a ‘special pre-release’ on 9/11 is an adorable boy doll stamp named ‘Jake’Jake measures approximately 3 ½” tall and is the perfect companion for the Sweeties girl stamps – Abigail, Emma and SophieJake has several outfits available this month – one of which is the cutest soldier ‘dress’ uniform complete with a medal of honor, hat and six heartfelt sentiments!  Jake was designed at the request of a good friend who is very involved with the Operation Write Home organization because she has a brother serving overseas in the armed forces!  Each Sweeties stamp set retails for $10.

Hauntingly Homemade

Hi there! Today I am sharing a project I made for My Time Made Easy! I have a few of my own designs coming out this month, too!

Lauren designed a really cute and versatile bag called Boo! Bag that I had to use! It can be used on its own, as a pumpkin, a basket, a caludron, a bat.... The possibilities are endless!!!!

I couldn't resist cutting this guy out!!! And see the tag that is up by his wing? That was created with my set that is out, called Hauntingly Homemade Labels! It is a series of labels and coordinating sentiments that work great with tricks OR treats!!! :-)

How fun is he?! The file comes with eyes, but always look for the chance to use googlie eyes when I can!

For the back, I cut out some of the extras using one of the papers I designed.! I had so much fun creating this month - I just looovveee Halloween!

Make sure to check out the other DT members posts today for more inspiration:

Sew Fruity!

Today is the big day - it's Release Day for the newest My Time Made Easy products!!!  Today I'm sharing a the cut file from Grammy's Sewing Kit and some papers and digital stamps! I still can't believe I'm a part of this team! Make sure you click on the links at the end of my post to see what the entire DT has created - you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I designed the gingham paper from A Picnic of Patterns digital papers and the fruit, along with the sentiment.  Both the fruit and sentiment are part of the Tooty Fruity stamp set.  I simply colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers and trimmed them out.

And for the top, I added in the little ants that are a part of the Tooty Fruity set! Fun, huh???

For the hinges that make the boxes pull out and open, I used some crackle paint and let it dry before I adhered everything together with brads.

Now it's time for you to check out what everyone else has created and don't forget to check out the new items in the store, too!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!!

(All Supplies used are My Time Made Easy unless otherwise noted)

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette 04 Challenge

Today I'm participating in the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette 04 Challenge!

I love the stamps that My Time Made Easy creates! This challenge was a bit, well, challenging for me.  I don't often use Peach or Seafoam Green.  Ivory and Kraft aren't a problem, though!!!

I decided to make a baby card for this one.  I honestly don't own much in Peach, scrapbooking or otherwise.  Nothing against it - I just look horrible when I wear it (I'm too pale), so I steer clear of it in general.  But I did find some peach and seafoam green stock in a baby pack I had from DCVW!!! Woo hoo!!! That worked out well - not only do I have a ton of friends that are pregnant right now, I was able to use the cute Papertrey Ink Teddy Bear stamp!!!

I stamped the bear twice and paper pieced him together.  I used two PTI dies (banner and scalloped rectangle).  I also stamped the "LOVE" sentiment onto some Bazzill green stock with seafoam green ink from Martha Stewart.  I was so happy to use my new Stampin Up confetti stamp, too! I adore those little ABC's at the bottom of the card!

To finish it off, I added a PTI sentiment in the upper left corner and I drew some stitching around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to play along with this week's My Time Made Easy Color Challenge!
