Prestige: Only Words Dies

Hi!
The newest dies from Crafter's Companion are now available.  They are seriously beautiful! The line is called Prestige Only Words from Die'Sire.

For this card, I worked with the Always With You die.  Sympathy cards are not something I enjoy making, but I do need to have them on hand at a moment's notice.  This die makes sympathy cards (or really even any carding card) a breeze.

I paired it up with the Stamp It Australia: Floral Fancies EZ Mount Stamp set and colored it in using Spectrum Aquas: Orchid and Bud Green. I actually stamped the image in London Fog, so the outlines weren't quite as prominent.

To finish everything off, I added some Broken China to the background and some splatters of
Kingfisher (Spectrum Aqua color loaded on a brush).

Prestige Dies Sneak Peek

This week, Crafter's Companion will be releasing some more fantastic dies called the Prestige Collection. This dies are so pretty and intricate!

I used the With Great Love die for this card.  I simply die cut it from white cardstock and then used some Spectrum Aquas to give it a soft, watercolored feel.  I used Crimson, Aquamarine, Yellow.

For the background, I printed out papers from the Destinations CD Rom.  I think that subtle pattern pairs well with the soft watercolor look of the die.  And I love the pop of the yellow against the blue!

I added a few score lines to the bottom front of the card, just to give it a little more interest, using my Ultimate Tool.  I just love all of the little details of these dies - they come out soon, so you will see what I mean! :)
