Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy!

Hi!
Crafter's Companion has a brand new release out, just in time for some Halloween Crafting! I used the new The Wise Owl EZ Mount Stamp set for this creation.

I created the box using Kraft cardstock and the Big Score Board.  Then, I stenciled in some ink (Distress Grid Stencil).

I colored everything in using Spectrum Noir Markers and I trimmed it out. Colors used: TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4, TN5, TN6, TN7, TN8, OR2, IG1, IG5

SUPPLIES:

All supplies available on the Crafter's Companion website and linked above unless otherwise noted.

Flowers!

Hi! I wanted pop in to wish you a Happy Weekend.... And to share a fun card I made using some Crafter's Companion supplies!

I stamped the flowers on the edge of the paper using Memento Tuxedo Black and then trimmed around them so the card base would show through.  After that, I masked off the flowers and stamped the solid flower around them.  The flowers are from Sheena's Flower Power and the sentiment is from the freebie set that comes with the Crafter's Companion Magazine!

So bright and fun! And check out that embossed background - LOVE!

I used the fantastic Embossalicious Lattice 6x6 folder to create that look.  And I added some Stickles to the center to add an extra little pop. I colored the flowers in with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I love that I was able to match them closely to the ink!

The theme is Masculine, just in time for Father's Day!

I used this beautiful image from Sheena’s A Little Bit Sketchy: On The Water and painted it with watercolors.  It was fun to not be exact and to just go with the flow and paint away!!!

Check out the monthly challenge and play along for a chance to win a Crafter's Companion gift certificate!

Thanks for stopping by!

Using Perfect Pearls

Hi there! I wanted to share a card I created using the stunning flowers from Crafter's Companion's Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy: Flower Power and Perfect Pearls.

Perfect Pearls are a shimmery powder made my Ranger.  They come in multiple colors and can be used in various ways.  I stamped the background image with VersaMark and then brushed some Perfect Pearls onto the stamped image.  I gently wiped them away with a tissue and the result is fabulous!

I stamped the smaller flower from Flower Power using Memento Tuxedo Black on some patterned paper and then matched up two of my Spectrum Noirs (BT2 and BT3) to the paper.  Even if you don't have the perfect color, you can blend your markers together to get them closer to what you're looking for! That's why I love my Spectrum Noirs!!!

I stamped the flower twice, added some color in with my Spectrum Noirs and then adhered the flowers using this Crafter's Companion adhesive foam.  I pulled up the edges of the tip flower gently with my fingernail to show the dimension.  The finishing touch with an orange pearl and a sentiment from Beatrix Potter's A Winter's Tale set.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sheena's a Little Bit Sketchy

Hi!
Today I'm sharing a simple card I created using the newest Sheena set released from Crafter's Companion.

There are six new sets that have been added to the "A Little Bit Sketchy" collection and I am using the Falling Feathers set.

These feathers are SO pretty!!! I simply punched them out, inked up the edges and adhered it onto some patterned paper.  I punched the edges for the twine, too, so it didn't move at all.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you will check out the new sets and make sure to pop on over to the Crafter's Companion Facebook page and the blog for some inspiration!
