Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a card to share today that I created using supplies from Spectrum Noir and Crafter's Companion, created in honor of Thanksgiving.

I stamped the beautiful image from Sheena's Perfect Partners An Apple A Day EZ Mount Stamp Set on Kraft and heat embossed it with clear powder.

I colored in the image using ColourBlend pencils:
Essentials: White, Sage
Florals: Daffodil, Rose Red, Red Currant, Vanilla
Naturals: Walnut, Sno

I finished off the card by adding some sparkle using the Clear Overlay pack (Crystal Clear) Sparkle Marker.

Glittery Ice Cream with Spectrum Noir!

Hi!

I know that the end of summer is quickly approaching, but I just can't accept that! I keep making summer-y cards.  Maybe that will keep the weather warm here in Chicago!

I was inspired by THIS amazing post on the Spectrum Noir website.  I love the look of colored pencils on Kraft, so I used my Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils to great this vibrant ice cream cone!

I also used the Crystal Clear Sparkle Marker to add some shimmer.

Colorista Dark Tags and Spectrum Noir Metallics!

Today I have some fun tags to share! I created them using Spectrum Noir Metallic Pencils, Colorista Dark Tags 2 and some ColourBlend pencils.  I was inspired by THIS tutorial to create these!

I used all of the Metallic Pencils, along with ColourBlend Pencils Lunar Yellow (Primaries), White, Peach, Canary, Pistachio (Essentials), and Snow (Naturals).

I wanted to create this card, because I was inspired by THIS tutorial on the Spectrum Noir blog! I love the look of Kraft, but I always feel like the colors aren't bright enough.  By adding white with a ColourBlend pencil as a base, it solved that problem!

I used ColourBlend Pencils White, Daffodil, Bumblebee, Spice Brown, Saffron, Jade, Pistachio, Sage, Cherry Red, and Rose Red.  I also added a little sparkle to the center of the apples using my Crystal Clear Sparkle Marker.

Cheers with Spectrum Noir!

I wanted to pop in and share this card I created using my Spectrum Aqua Markers and my Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils, based on THIS tutorial.

Using a stencil, I colored in the stars with a White (Essentials set) ColourBlend Pencil on Watercolour Cardstock. Then, I used my Spectrum Aquas (Aquamarine, Bud Green, Purple, Yellow, Orange) as watercolors and created the background.

To finish off the card, I die cut the city out of Black Pearl Shimmering Cardstock and Ultra Smooth cardstock, stacking them together. I added a sentiment and adhered everything to a card base.
