Party Time Tuesdays!

Crafter's Companion is sponsoring the Party Time Tuesdays Challenge this time around! The challenge theme is Anything Goes! You can win a Crafter's Companion Gift Certificate, so you should really play along to win!!!!

I stamped that beautiful butterfly in Staz On Jet Black Midi ink from Stamp It Australia: Take Flight onto watercolor paper and colored it in with my Spectrum Aquas Yellow, Blossom, Sea Green, and Aquamarine. The sentiment is from Sentimentals: Greetings.

I wanted to add something extra, so I die cut some paper from the Sweet Treats 11x17 Paper Pack using the Bebunni Floral Dies: Cottage Lace and added it to the top of the card. It's also on the card base, too. I think it really pulls everything together!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will join in on the fun at Party Time Tuesdays!

All supplies are linked above and available in the Crafter's Companion Store.

Special Treat: Milk Carton Tutorial

Hi!
I want to share with you how I created this adorable milk carton!

I used the Crafter's Companion Ultimate Tool along with the Special Treat Embossing Board.  I embossed and cut out two identical sides of the carton.

Then I adhered them together using a extra strong tape runner.

Then I folded and adhered the sides together.

I cut a 2.125 x 2.125 square for the bottom piece and adhered it.

Since it's all embossed right on the board, I just pinched the top together and it was done! Awesome!

I wanted to add something fun to the front of the carton, so I stamped this label image from Stamp It Australia: French Travels and then inked it up with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Then I stamped this beautiful flower from Stamp It Australia: Floral Fancies using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I colored it in with Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils (013, 024, 029) and the Blending Solution and paper stumps.

To soften it up, I added the same Distress Ink to the flower before adhering it to the carton.

I also added some ink to the edges of the carton, just to give it more of a distressed feel.  Here is the finished piece again:

Vintage Floral Verses

Hi! I want to share a creation I made using some Crafter's Companion supplies! I'm giving you a little sneak of the Vintage Floral Verses set that comes out very soon.  How fabulous is that sentiment?

I created the rest of the card by stamping an image from Stamp It Australia: Dreamer Take Flight in clear embossing powder and then I brushed over it with Memento Luxe Inks Lilac Posies and Sweet Plum.

Around the sentiment, I added some Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade to make it pop.

Treat Bags Fit for a Princess!

Hi!
I created some quick, but beautiful treat bags.  I think they are perfect for any princess!

I used some glassine bags and covered them with Washi Tape.

That fantastic crown is from the Stamp It: Birds and Butterflies set.  I colored the crowns in with my Spectrum Noir markers (GG1, CR5, CR6, CT2, CT3).  I also stamped Travel Script over it all, just to soften everything up a bit.

I colored in the pearls using my markers so I would have the perfect match and I added the clothespin, just to keep the treat bag closed.

Elegant Embossing

Today I have a card using some amazing new embossing folders available at the Crafter's Companion store!
Check out the card I made with this folder (called Regal Corner) and this beautiful stamp from the Stamp It Discovery collection:

I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color in the image and I used some Glossy Accents to make the clock really shine.

After the base was embossed, I rubbed some tea colored ink onto it to make it really stand out.  I LOVE this design!!!

FYI, some of these embossing folders even come in an 8x8 size! WHAT?! How fabulous is that for scrapbooking?!?! Go. Shop. Now.  :-)

Embossing on Kraft

Hi there! I'm back again, ready to start your Monday off with a bang!  :-)

Today I have a card that I used one of my favorite techniques on! I just L-O-V-E the look of white on Kraft, so I heat embossed the Time In Paris (from the Stamp It Discovery Collection) in white on some Kraft cardstock!!!!

Then, I colored in parts of the image using my Spectrum Noir markers.  That strip of glitter at the top was created using Red Liner tape and some glitter sprinkled on it.

This is a simple and quick way to make a real eye-catching card!!!
