I'm All A Flutter!

Hi!
I wanted to pop in and share this creation I made that is on display at the CHA for Crafter's Companion!

I love the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.  Not only do they shine fabulously, but they blend really well! I've used them to blend pencils, watercolors and my Spectrum Aquas.  Plus, they blend perfectly together, not just with other mediums.

For this card, I actually stamped, then photocopied the images, then used a laminator to foil the images (Therm-o-web foil was used).  I know... I went a little nuts with the sparkle, but the foil looks fabulous with the sparkles in the ink.

I ended up blending using only Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.  I used Spectrum Aquas (Kingfisher, Peacock Blue, Aquamarine) for the background, but those butterflies are 100% sparkle.  :)

I have to say, these are really, really easy to use! This was one of my first attempts at using them and I was really pleased with the results.

I used Sparkle Pen colors Harvest Moon, Moonlight, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Solar Red, and Pink Garnet.  The butterflies and sentiment are from the Spectrum Noir Sparkle EZ Mount Stamp Set: Flutterby.  And I die cut the sentiment out (after foiling it!) using the Die'Sire Essential Die: Scalloped Circle.

Thanks for stopping by today!!!
