Kindred Stamps New Release - Lil' Stinker!

Hi!
I have a new video up, showing how to watercolor using the new Lil' Stinker stamp from Kindred Stamps!

I also created this for the current Fan Club Challenge, April is Coming.  Don't get me wrong, I am waaaayyy excited to see who wins the throne (if anyone living does), but right now, Spring is just something I'm uber excited for.  I'm just done with the Winter weather, so I couldn't wait to create a card for Spring!

Here is the video I created, showing the new set in action:

Isn't that little guy just too stinkin' cute?!?!?

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to join the Fan Club, to get all new release info before anyone else!

You Belong In A Museum!

Hi!
I wanted to pop in and share a card I made with the Kindred Stamps set, Treasure Hunter.  This set is so stinkin' cute.  I'm still chuckling about that sentiment!

To create the background, I used a stencil and blended some ink onto watercolor cardstock, then flicked some more ink using a waterbrush.

I colored in the image using Spectrum Aquas.

I created the background using Catherine Pooler inks and colored in the image with Spectrum Aquas and Catherine Pooler inks.

I added some shimmer to a few parts of the images and some sequins to finish off the card!

This card even matches my purse! :)

Ellen Hutson April Color Trends Challenge!

Hi! I am so beyond excited to be playing along in this month's Color Trend Challenge over at Ellen Hutson! It's the Drama Queen Color Palette and check out these colors! I happen to love purples and blues, so these colors were right up my alley!

I used the Essentials by Ellen Mermaid's Tail stamp set and coordinating Designer Dies. This set is just too cute!

I stamped the tail on vellum using a few different color inks, cleat heat embossed it and die cut it out.  I also foiled some Peel N Stick Toner sheets and die cut that out, too.  I wanted to create a bit of a foiled drop shadow behind the tail to show off the vellum.

For the background, I watercolored using Aqua markers.  I pulled it all together onto some Turquoise Sea cardstock and added the cute little shell die cuts.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will play along to win a $50 Gift Certificate to the Ellen Huston Store!!!!!
