It's been a long time since I've been able to play with my Papertrey Ink goodies! The current Create Along With Us challenge was the perfect chance for me to get inky!
Not only did it give me reason to use the What the Doodle: Butterfly Mini set, I thought the colors she chose were incredible!
So, this is my take:
I chose some canvas paper for the background. I wanted the texture to really show through when I added color. I used white embossing powder to create the butterfly and to add a few items to the front panel.
I used Distress Inks Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Shabby Shutters. Not only did I blend them into the butterfly and the background, I also added some water to them and flicked them onto the pieces.
Thanks for stopping by today!
