Thinking of You with Spectrum Noir!

Hi!
I created this card, inspired by THIS tutorial! Since I don't have any Aqua Tints, I substituted them with my Sparkle Markers.

I used a Sheena embossing folder as my guide and painted in it with Aqua Markers (Aquamarine, Wildflower, Bud Green, and Meadow) and a water bursh, then used Sparkle Markers (Emerald Green and Peony) to add low lights and shimmer.  To get the Sparkle Markers to blend into the Aquas, I used a water brush.

The sentiment was stamped on Black Pearl cardstock and then adhered to more Black Pearl cardstock!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hoppy Easter with Spectrum Noir!

Hi!
I wanted to pop in and share a card I created for Easter, using my Spectrum Noir supplies!

I stamped the bunnies onto Watercolour cardstock, using a lightly colored ink. I painted them in using Aqua Markers (Rose Pink, Kingfisher, Slate, Bud Green).  I love the 'no line' watercoloring effect and I thought it would be perfect on a spring-y card!

Aqua Bloom Set!

There is some new (amazing) goodness over in the Crafter's Companion store! The brand new Bloom set is available for purchase! This was first debuted on HSN, but now is in the store.

This set is incredibly creative; the idea is that it supplies the base to some blooms, but the stamper/creator can go crazy and create all kinds of beautiful flowers and blooms.

I used white embossing powder and my Aqua Markers to create a bit of a resist, along with the flower I painted.  I used Meadow, Red Violet, Crimson, Orange, Aquamarine, Moss, and Bud Green.

Little Angel Collection

Hi!
There is a new collection coming soon to the Crafter's Companion store. It's Sara Davies Signature Little Angels collection. If you watched HSN this past month, you may have caught a few sneak peeks of this amazing-ness!

I can always, always use tags, so I created three shaker tags! I used the adorable Baby Accessories die and added the watercolor with Aqua Markers (colors Yellow, Sunset, Marine, Magenta, Aquamarine). I used the heat resistant acetate to make the shaker windows.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Crafter's Companion on HSN TODAY!

Hi!
Today, Jennifer Tryon is on HSN all day long.  As in 24 hours! That is endless inspiration for us all! Yay! She will be sharing some amazing deals, one of them being her very first stamp set! I have to say, it is fantastic! It is called Spectrum Aqua Bloom EZ Mount Stamp set and I used it in my project below!

The idea behind this set is that the stamp gets you started, but YOU create the blooms! The possibilities are endless with this set.  Think of the wreaths, flowers and bouquet designs you can create!

And that sentiment?! I adore it!

I stamped everything and heat embossed it in gold on watercolour cardstock.  Then, using my Spectrum Aqua Markers, water and a small paintbrush, I got to work! I used colors Scarlet, Yellow, Gold, Orange, Crimson, and Burgundy.

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to tune in today to HSN and join the Watch Party on Facebook!
