Barkley Acrylic Release!

Hi! It's no secret that I love the Barkley line from Crafter's Companion, so I'm thrilled that some of the images are not available in Acrylic stamps, too! Yayness!

To celebrate this release, I made a shaker card using some Razzle Berry Glitter to make the card really festive.

I added some Distress Ink (Broken China) to soften up some of the white cardstock, too.  I colored him in using my Spectrum Noir Markers:
Crown: CT1, CT3, CT4
Barkley: IG6. IG9, IG7, PP2, PP4, IG1, Blender
Confetti: TB1, OR2, CR4, BT2, CT3, PP3

Crafter's Companion August Challenge

Hi! Have you played along with the August Challenge yet? The theme is Animals!

For my creation, I used this darling set from the newly released Barkley Christmas collection! This is the Festive Fun set and I paired it along with some Christmas papers that I've been hoarding.

I inked all of the edges with the amazing Memento Delicata Golden Glitz ink (coming very soon to the CC store).  Once this is available, you are going to want to get your hands on it.  It is AMAZING! The images were colored in with my fabby Spectrum Noir Markers (Colors Used:  IG4, IG8, IG9, IG10, GG1, PP2, PP4, LG4, LG5, IB1, IB2, TB1, EB1, EB2, IG1, IG2, DR4, DR6, Blender).

Home for Christmas!

I just can't get enough of the newest Crafter's Companion release, Barkley!

I used the adorable image from the Barkley Christmas Collection, called Home for Christmas.  I die cut the image and sentiment out using some simple dies and then I selectively embossed the background using the Embossalicious 6x6 Lattice folder.

I colored everything in using my Spectrum Noir Markers (DR1, DR6, CT3, CT4, DR5, DR7, GG3, GG5, GG1, CG4, CG4, GB7, GB8, EB4, EB2, EB6, IB1, BT1, BGR1, Blender). The edges were inked up using Memento Luxe's Toffee Crunch (coming soon to the Crafter's Companion store).

Merry Christmas (in July)!

Hi! I have another card from the adorable Barkey line, available later this week from Crafter's Companion!

He is just so huggable, isn't he??? This is from the Let It Snow set.  I used the stippling technique with my Spectrum Noirs.  That means I added a bunch of dots to create dimension.  This was always one of my favorite techniques to use in Art school, so I was thrilled when I saw it popping up in the craft world!

To color him in, I used BG7, BG9, BG1, DR6, DR7, BT1, BT2, PP1, PP3, IB1, IB2.  I created the banner by using a square punch on an angle and I daubed some Broken China Distress Ink on it, to soften it up.  I also added Stickles to the snow to give it some extra zing!

Barkley Sneak Peek!

Hi! I have a sneak peek of a new, super cute line coming out from Crafter's Companion! It's called Barkley and it is right up my alley! I can never get enough of cute doggies, so I fell in love with him immediately.  This is from the Let's Party set.

I used Spectrum Noirs (on this cardstock) to color him in: (PP4, PP5, BG7, BG9, BG2, BG1, CT3, CT4, CG4, BT3, CR4, DR2, OR1) and I punched out the sentiment and adhered it using foam adhesive squares so it would pop up above the twine.  The sequins were the finishing touch!
