Bebunni Die:Cabbage Rose

Hi! I wanted to pop in and share a creation I made with the new Bebunni Floral dies from Crafter's Companion!

That stunning flower is called Cabbage Rose.  I die cut it out of watercolor paper and then colored it in with my Spectrum Aquas (Bud Green, Moss, Scarlet, Blossom) before taking it out of the metal die.

To get that white sentiment (from Bebunni Special Friend EZ Mount stamp set) on the front panel to really pop, I used some Versamark ink and then added white embossing powder along with my heat gun. I love how white on Kraft looks! I also inked up the edges in Memento Luxe Wedding Dress Ink, too.

Thanks for stopping by today!

HSN!

Hi!
I wanted to share one of my creations that were on HSN a few weeks ago!

Bebunni is one of the cutest lines available from Crafter's Companion and the Floral Collection does not disappoint! I used the BeBunni Floral: Bunches of Love EZ Mount stamp for this card.  It has me wishing Spring would hurry up and get to the Midwest already!

I colored everything in using my Spectrum Noir Markers:
Bunny: IG1, IG3, IG2, IG4, PP1, PP2
Flowers: CT1, CT3, LG1, LG2, LG3, LG5, HB1, HB2, CR1, CR7,CR9, CR11, CR5, TB3, TB4

To create the soft background, I used some Shaded Lilac Distress ink along with some splatters from my Silver Shimmer Spritz.

I wanted to pop the sentiment out a bit and have it be noticable, so I die cut it using my Die'Sire Essecntials: Rectangles and Scalloped Rectangles and used double sided foam adhesive to pop it up.  I finished everything off by adding just a touch of Gold Stickles Glitter Glue!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Bebunni Floral Collection: Sneak Peek

Hi!
Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of the new Bebunni Floral EZ Mount stamp sets that are coming out soon from Crafter's Companion!

I had so much fun with this set! It's called Brighten My Day and I think it is just so sweet.  I colored him in using my Spectrum Noir Blendable colored pencils:
Flower: 029, 030, 046, 054, 051, 017, 020, 014
Bunny: 034, 035, 115, 112, 114

Then, to add just a little something extra, I used the negative area from the die cut to have the sentiment peeking through! I used my Die'Sire Essentials Rectangles Dies for this technique.

Make sure to stay tuned - the full release is coming out soon and there are some more adorable images and sentiments coming your way! Thanks for stopping by!

Bebunni Release!

Hi! I wanted to share step-by-step how I made this card, using a brand new Bebunni set from Crafter's Companion.  This cutie is from the Bebunni Christmas Line and it's called Poinsettia.

I used my fabulous Spectrum Noir Pencils to color him in.
Poinsettia:
027, 024, 033, 046, 049, 011, 014, 035, 036, 041
Hat:
028, 033, 115
Bunny Body:
088, 090

I grabbed some Kraft cardstock and added some white embossing paste using an Um Wow stencil.  I let it dry for about an hour.  You can use a heat gun to speed up the process, but sometimes it bubbles a little bit.

I used the Poinsettia from Stamp It: Holiday Poinsettia and inked it up with VersaMark watercolor ink.  I wanted to create my own pattern for the background.  I love the way VersaMark looks on Kraft.

Once my background was created, I grabbed my permanent tape and decided to have him slightly cover up the embossing paste area.  I also added a sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink from the Sentimentals Vintage Floral Collection: Greetings.

And the final result:

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you'll pop over to the Crafter's Companion store and check out all of these darling stamps.

Bebunni Sneak Peek!

Hi! Today I'm sneaking a SUPER CUTE card I made using a set from the Crafter's Companion Bebunni line.  I think he is just the cutest and this set will be out soon!

I'd like to take you through the simple process I used to create this sweet card.

First I colored in this cutie from the Christmas Rudolph set using my Spectrum Noir Markers.  I used:
Body:
PP2, PP3, IG1, IG2, TN2, TN3
Clothes:
BT2, BT3, IG1, DR1, DR4, DR5, DR6
Bell:
CT2, CT4

Then I fussy cut him out using some sharp scissors.

Ahhhh! The cuteness, right?!?!? I'm notorious for coloring stuff in and then not knowing what to do with it!!!! Lots of times, I will color a bunch of images, cut them out and then they just hang out at my desk for a while.  But with this guy, I was inspired to make his scarf candy-cane style, like some patterned paper I had in my stash.

I decided to stamp the sentiment on white stock and leave it on a strip to break up the candy cane stripes in the background.  The sentiment is part of the same stamp set!

I don't know about you, but when I'm creating, I try to lay everything down BEFORE I adhere it.  That way, I can make sure I have the layout I like before it's permanent! I always use this Crafter's Companion tape runner because it know it's tough and it sticks!

And here is a shot of the finished card.

Thanks for stopping by!!!
