Hi! Happy 4th of July and welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge! Yay!

Ellen Hutson! is sponsoring this challenge!!! Here is a little bit about her store:

Ellen Hutson, LLC began their adventure in November 2006 as an online web store committed to bringing you the finest paper crafting products and related product education. They are always looking to provide their customers with quality products, excellent customer service, and education and inspiration for the products they carry. You can shop with Ellen by clicking HERE. As well please join them to be inspired and learn some fun techniques in the CLASSroom, or stay up-to-date on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and/orPinterest.

The winner of this challenge will get a $25 gift certificate to the online store!

I loved the colors of the mood board, so I went with those and those little speckles for the background!

I used the little triangles from Birthday Tags for the background and Blue Skies (stamp set and Lawn Cuts) along with Scripty For You as the focal points.

Everything was colored in with Spectrum Noir Markers and I paper pieced Let's Polka patterned paper for the balloon!

I hope you will play along!

Lawnscaping Challenge # 102: Distress Addicts sponsored by Lawn Fawn

Hello, hello! It's time for another fabulous Lawnscaping Challenge!

This time, we are going
Distress CRAZY!

We are sponsored by the always amazing Lawn Fawn! Those folks just rock and they are sponsoring this challenge with a free stamp set of the winner's choice!

For my creation, I used Distress Markers, Distress Inks AND I distressed the edges of my card! I really tried to push myself with this one.  I don't normally use doilies or my Distress Markers, so I went all out. And that sentiment? It's on clear acetate, to give the card a little extra zing!

To start, I colored onto the Penelope's Blossoms stamp set with Distress Markers, spritzed them with water and then stamped them onto watercolor paper.  I die cut a few extra elements using the coordinating Lawn Cut and added them onto the main bloom with some foam adhesive.

Then, I added Distress ink to the doily, and tried mixing some different patterened papers.  To finish off the card, I distressed the edges and added the sentiment from Birthday Tags with the banner from Good Fortune.

This one is a bit different than my normal style.  That's a little 'distressing,' isn't it??!?!!? Just kidding! I hope you'll play along with us!

Stamps and Dies: Lawn Fawn
Markers: Distress Markers (Peeled Paint, Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed)
Ink: Distress Ink (Broken China, Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick), Staz On Jet Black
Patterned Paper: Lawn Fawn (Hello Sunshine)
Acetate: Heat Resistant by Crafter's Companion

Lawnscaping Challenge 100: Birthday Celebration Sponsored by Lawn Fawn!

Hi! This challenge kicks off our 100th CHALLENGE! Squee!

Our challenge theme this week seems appropriate. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! And for some extra fun, each design team member has invited a special "party peep" to as I like to call it to be their special guest this week and celebrate with us. What that means for you is there is LOADS of inspiration below! LOADS from talented designers and friends...

We are sponsored by the always amazing Lawn Fawn! These folks just rock and they are sponsoring this challenge with a free stamp set of the winner's choice! So many stamp to choose from, I know. It's tough. We just heart them! Thank you Kelly Marie and gang for sponsoring us! YOU ROCK!

My special guest is the amazing Anika Lerche!

I'm not going to lie - when Anni sent me this card, I almost fell over, it was so incredible.  The things she does with background is quite simply amazing.  I am so lucky to know her and even serve on a Design Team with her!

And for my creation, I used some Peerless watercolors in the background along with some Gold Heidi Swapp color shine.  That darling ferris wheel is from the Admit One set (an oldie, but a goodie!) and I used the coordinating Lawn Cuts for it.  The sentiment came from the Birthday Tags set.  I colored everything in with my Spectrum Noir Blendable pencils and solution.

Come and play along with us for this special challenge! I can't believe it's been 100 challenges already. And by the way, even though I've been on this team for quite a while now, I STILL pinch myself to see if it's real.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!
