My special guest is the amazing Anika Lerche!

I'm not going to lie - when Anni sent me this card, I almost fell over, it was so incredible.  The things she does with background is quite simply amazing.  I am so lucky to know her and even serve on a Design Team with her!

And for my creation, I used some Peerless watercolors in the background along with some Gold Heidi Swapp color shine.  That darling ferris wheel is from the Admit One set (an oldie, but a goodie!) and I used the coordinating Lawn Cuts for it.  The sentiment came from the Birthday Tags set.  I colored everything in with my Spectrum Noir Blendable pencils and solution.

Sweet New Release!

Hi!
It's new New Release time at Sweet Stamp Shop! I couldn't resist - I HAD to participate.  The DT girls have been knocking these sets out of the park and I was so inspired by them all.

We have a new Sweet Illustrator, Evelin, and this is one of her new sets! Super cute, right? Since circus things are usually bright and done up in Primary Colors, I decided to be different and I went with softer, sweeter colors and some silver embossing for the sentiment.  :)  Sometimes it's fun to be different!!

The monkey is from Monkey Business and the base is from Juggling Act.  To combine them,I stamped the monkey on a Post It and fussy cut him out and masked him out on the front of the card.  Am I the only one that really loves that masking technique???

BE Inspired!

Hi!
I am finally settling into our new home, so I've been able to create again! Yay!!!! I wanted to play along in the Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired Challenge #33.  It's been a while since I've been able to play along and I've missed it!

I'm also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes!


I was inspired by the grey in the image above to color in the main image only in grey scale! I thought it would be pretty cool.  I added the three yellow balls because of the inspiration image and because I wanted that pop of yellow.  :)

I used the clown from Admit One and the sentiment is from Petal Pushers.

Everything was colored in using Spectrum Noir markers.

BE Inspired # 27

Hi!
I'm playing along with The Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired # 27 Challenge.  Here is the inspiration:

And here is my take:

I used the lion from Party Animal and mixed the sentiment from the same set and Admit One.  I popped the lion up with some foam adhesive.  The sentiment is heat embossed so it would really pop!
