SP & Co Trends Challenge

Hi!
I'm back with another Trends Challenge.  Pop on over to the Scrapmaster's Blog for all of the details!

The challenge is using Negative Space this time around!

I decided to use some of the coordinating inks and buttons since SP & Co is now in color! The inks match the buttons (and flair) perfectly.  Love, love, love this idea! It makes my life so much easier.  I die cut the the banner from the Certified Awesome die set and then lightly traced it inside the card with a pencil so I could align the banner correctly.  The banner and sentiment are from Certified Awesome Additions.  I stamped the banner in Avocado Green and then used the coordinating buttons.  The sentiment and buttons are in Clown Fish.  Oh, and the buttons come in these super cute little tins!

Now, pop on over to the Scrapmaster's Blog to play along with this month's Trends Challenge!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hi,
I hope you are enjoying your Mother's Day.  I wanted to share the card I made for my mom this year.  I was inspired by this amazing card that I saw and I just had to give my own version a try!

I used two older SP & Company sets, Stichery Doo and For Every Woman.  And... I used the new SP & Co. Premium Chalk Ink in Clown Fish, which I looooovveeee.  I simply adore the coverage I get with these ink pads.  They are amazing!!!

I sponged the yellow first, using distress ink and die cut those little hearts.  Then I stamped the dashed lines.  I thought the bling would be a great addition!

I think the sentiments are just so sweet.  My mom loved the card!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps: SP & Co.

Trends Challenge - Using Dies or Punches

Hi!
I'm back with another Trends Challenge!

I used the simply amazing Dies that are now available from SP & Company! This set is called Certified Awesome and I used the coordinating stamps from the Certified Awesome and Certified Awesome Additions sets.

Die cutting makes my life sooooo much easier and I simply love it! With die cuts, my projects look so clean and professional.  Oh, and it saves me so much time!

I also used two of the new SP Premium (Chalk) Inks! I am not kidding when I say I am in love with these ink pads! I used Ocean Waves and Clownfish for this project.  The inks coordinate perfect with the other "SP in Color" items, like the buttons that are available now.

To create this card, I stamped everything first, then die cut using my Cuttlebug.  I sprayed the base of the card and used a heat gun to dry it quickly.  I added the die cut with foam adhesive and some bling for that extra pop.

I hope you'll play along with the Trends Challenge for a chance to win $25 to the SP & Company store!
