Trends Challenge - Using Dies or Punches

Hi!
I'm back with another Trends Challenge!

I used the simply amazing Dies that are now available from SP & Company! This set is called Certified Awesome and I used the coordinating stamps from the Certified Awesome and Certified Awesome Additions sets.

Die cutting makes my life sooooo much easier and I simply love it! With die cuts, my projects look so clean and professional.  Oh, and it saves me so much time!

I also used two of the new SP Premium (Chalk) Inks! I am not kidding when I say I am in love with these ink pads! I used Ocean Waves and Clownfish for this project.  The inks coordinate perfect with the other "SP in Color" items, like the buttons that are available now.


To create this card, I stamped everything first, then die cut using my Cuttlebug.  I sprayed the base of the card and used a heat gun to dry it quickly.  I added the die cut with foam adhesive and some bling for that extra pop.

SP Trends Challenge #7

Hi!

I have another SP & Company Trends Challenge project for you! This time around, the challenge is to use Banners and Flags.

I used papers from the Carta Bella Collection True Friends.  The boots are from the Rain Boots set and the banner is from Certified Awesome Additions (and I used the matching Die Tool).

I snuck in a little vellum flower and some wood veneer triangles to finish everything off.

SP Trends Challenge #6

Hi!
We have another Trends Challenge today and this time we are using a trendy color combination!

For my card, I chose to use a negative die cut.  I am sooooo in love with the new SP & Company dies.  For this card, I used the Certified Awesome Die Tool Set.

I just had to share this picture I took while making the card.  How fantastic is it that not only do the stamps just align with each other perfectly when you do the multiple-step stamping, but look at those die cuts! They are just aligned perfectly.

I stamped the circles and outline from the Certified Awesome set and then colored in the banner with markers.  The "sweet" is from the Certified Awesome Additions set.  I just love having multiple sets that work so well together.

SP Trends Challenge #5

Hi! It's time for another SP Trends Challenge!

The challenge this time is Twine! Remember that there are tons of different types of twine available in the SP & Company Store!

For my card, I thought it would be cute to leave the negative space of a die cut and have some twine show through.  And the mustache is the perfect focal point! It's from the Mustache Madness set, one of my favorites!

The sentiments are from the new Certified Awesome set, that just came out in the February Release.  Our next Release is March 10th (new releases are each month on the 10th).  We are also going to have an Online Crop this month!!! SP Trends Challenge - Washi Tape

Hi there!
Are you ready for the next Trends Challenge? Evgenia picked the challenge this week and it is one of my favorites - Washi Tape!

I used a few different washi tapes in this card.  I added the clouds at the top and bottom along with the center of the sun and some yellow woodgrain in the remaining suns.

I popped up the center piece of the card with pop dots so it would sit above the washi background I created.  The sentiments are from the new Certified Awesome set and the suns are from my Falling for Autumn set from my Vintage October line.
