SP January Release Day

Welcome! I am really excited to share the creations I've made with the newest SP & Company stamp set, Happy Banners!


I have been bitten by the chalkboard technique bug.  :-)  I stamped on black stock and heat embossed the images, then I added some white ink and while colored pencil to finish up the tag.  I just love the banners and the sentiments! I also used some images from the In Love Emma set, Tiny Build A Banner and the Rain Boots stamp set.  I love how all of my SP stamps work together!!!

For my second project, I used some Washi tape to highlight the banner.  I thought it would be fun to use super bright colors and to add that spray mist in the corner.  It did get kinda bunched up, but I think that just gives it more character!!!

Ornamental Trees

Hi! I made a cute Christmas card using the Ornamental Trees set!

And those packages under the tree? They are from the In Love Emma set that just came out last month.  That sentiment is from the Falling Snow set and so are the AWESOME snow drifts.  I added a little shadowing with my markers and some bling stars to the top of the tree.

I stamped the Trees on Kraft in various colors and trimmed them out.  I also cut the drifts apart so I could stagger the tress on different levels.

SP & Company Hop and Release Day!

For my first card, I used the images from the new Tiny Build A Banner set and a sentiment from In Love Emma (ApplesDapples Collection).  I also used some of the dashed lines from Stitchery Doo and the chevrons from Chevron Chase to complete the card.

The patterned stock is from Echo Park's This & That.  I just love the mix & match of dots and chevrons on this card.  I lightly inked Chevron Chase because I wanted it to hide behind the sentiment and give more of a distressed look.

Isn't Emma sooo cute? This set allows you to mix & match the items she is holding.  I love it!!!

I actually used Christmas papers from Carta Bella's Merry & Bright (this was part of the kit club), but you can't even tell they are meant to be for Christmas! Talk about versatile!

Sneak Peek!

Hi!
I have a little sneak for you today! I'm using a brand new set that comes out on the 10th of this month called In Love Emma, which is part of the AppleDapples Collection.

I colored her in with some alcohol markers (Spectrum Noir brand) and I paper pieced her dress.  The papers are all from Echo Park's This & That collection.

I think this set is so fun - she's holding an envelope here, but there are a ton of other options available in the set.  You are going to love it!
