Cheers with Spectrum Noir!

Hi!
I wanted to pop in and share this card I created using my Spectrum Aqua Markers and my Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils, based on THIS tutorial.

Using a stencil, I colored in the stars with a White (Essentials set) ColourBlend Pencil on Watercolour Cardstock. Then, I used my Spectrum Aquas (Aquamarine, Bud Green, Purple, Yellow, Orange) as watercolors and created the background.

To finish off the card, I die cut the city out of Black Pearl Shimmering Cardstock and Ultra Smooth cardstock, stacking them together. I added a sentiment and adhered everything to a card base.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Some Bunny Loves You!

Hi!
I finally got my hands on some Mama Elephant stamps and I don't know what I was waiting for! They are fabulous! I love the quality and the adorable designs. I decided to play along in the current Photo Inspiration Challenge.

The Honey Bunny set is just darling and I couldn't wait to ink it up, especially since Easter is right around the corner.  I made this card for my sweet Goddaughter and her brothers.

I used embossing paste on the card base and then added some Distress Inks to create a resist watercolor background using the colors from the inspiration photo.  I added some simple coloring to the bunny with my Spectrum Noir Markers, too.

How fun is that top hat and bow tie?!?! Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant Color Challenge #1

Hi! I hope you have been having a wonderful holiday! I have a card to share that I think is pretty fun.  I participated in the first Mama Elephant Color challenge.

This is one of my favorite color combos ever, so I had to play along.  And I LOVE the idea of glitter having to be used with these colors!

I created a shaker box using some My Minds Eye Papers, a free Mama Elephant image and a Paper Smooches sentiment.

I heat embossed the sentiment on acetate.  Even though the bird is on a different layer and sits behind it, it still looks like it's sitting on the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!
