You're a Magical Mermaid with Spectrum Noir!

Hi!

I then added some color to the sentiment and background with Aquas Sea Green, Purple, and Kingfisher.  I finished off the card with the Crystal Clear Sparkle Marker and some sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today!

SSS: Things with Wings Challenge

Hi!
Here's a little card I created for the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Things With Wings!

I embossed some kraft with a Tim Holtz honeycomb folder and then brushed over it with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.  I stamped the super cute bees and hive from Neat & Tangled's Little Bear set and fussy cut them out.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Gnome Sweet Gnome.

And a close up for you:

I added some Glossy Accents to  the wings to finish it all off!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Little Tangles Challenge #12: A Shaker Card

Hi!
I wanted to pop in and share a fun card I made for the current Little Tangles Challenge # 12.

I love all three of these colors! So, I combined yellow and coral together and added just a touch of aqua.

I used the palette blending technique with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I blended the coral and yellow together.  I thought that would be a cool look for the fire! Then I cut out the center and made it a shaker! So, when you shake it, it's like the fire's center is moving!!! I had some coral-y reddish glitter that I placed in the center.

That fire is from Neat and Tangled's Little Bear and the sentiment is from The Alley Way Stamps Lighter Than Air set.  I colored in the heart in coral and added a little aqua outline.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pinspired Mid-Challenge Inspiration!

Hi!

I created two projects for the current Pinspired Challenge.  I shared my first one in THIS post, but here is my second.

This challenge is sponsored by Neat & Tangled Stamps.  I love Neat & Tangled! All of the sets are just so creative and fun! Stop on over and check out the blog.  You will fall in love....

For my first project, I used a freebie, but for this project, I used the Little Bear set.

I was inspired to use the paw prints like the scarf in the upper left corner, trailing off the edge of the card.

And for some reason, looking at the mittens and scarf made me want to curl up under the covers with a book, so I created this card to mimic a book.  I also got brave and cut my sentiment stamp apart! The line was really long and I couldn't fit it into the spot I wanted, so I took a deep breath and cut away.  It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.  :-)

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check out the Pinspired Blog and play along!!!

Pinspired Challenge #2

It's time for Challenge #2! Wow, how time flies! The first challenge was just FANTASTIC! Thank you so much to everyone that participated!

You are going to want to play along with this one - Neat & Tangled is our generous sponsor for this challenge.  If you haven't seen or used these stamps yet, you are missing out!

And here is the inspiration badge:

I thought it would be fun to mix the different herringbone patterns for this.  I only had the gray paper, so I made my own patterned paper using washi tape.  I die cut the multiple layers and used the darling "hello" freebie digi sentiment.

I punched out the heart (I couldn't resist - those hearts in the inspo picture are just too fun!) and I ran it through my Xyron, then glittered it.

I adhered all the layers with adhesive foam.  Fun, huh?

Now it's your turn! Pop on over to the Pinspired Challenge site for the inspiration projects from the Design Team and to play along!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
