Reflections Release!

Hi!
Today is a very special release for Sweet Stamp Shop's On Cherry Street line! Nicole is turning 30 soon and she wanted to create a kit to celebrate her birthday! It's called Reflections and it goes on sale today!!!

I chose to document a recent weekend getaway my husband and I took to Michigan.  We drove up to Detroit to visit our friends that live up there for their Bridal Shower and it was a BLAST.  I used a picture that was taken right on the lake, across from Canada (this is the closest I've ever been to being out of the country, LOL).  We really had so much fun.  I never expected to love Detroit the way that I did (which is illegal since I'm a White Sox fan)!

I love the wood veneers that are included in the kit! I thought it would be totally fun to put the arrow ON TOP of the page protector! Yep - thinking out of the box.  :)  And if you shake the page (like my 5 year old does to everything, sigh), the sequins move around.

My layout is simple and to the point, right??? :) I added in a few die cuts and sequins, but that was it.  I love, love, love the card that I chose - it's just so perfect for so many things! I may need to go and get another kit because I just love the cards so much... Even for cardmaking!

The full details on the release (and all of the AMAZING projects by the DT) are on the Sweet Blog.  Make sure you pop over there and check it out!

On Cherry Street Inspirational Blog Hop

Hi! Today we are hopping to inspire YOU to craft!!! You should have arrived here from Cathy's blog!!!

I wanted to share the layout I made using the very first On Cherry Street Kit called Magical.

Besides using this fab kit, I also used stamps from the new Dragon set and the Princess set to add a little something extra to my pocket style page.  Everything coordinates together - it's awesome.  I love the wood veneers and I love the cards and how they 'work' with other stamp sets - swoon!

Next up is Chrissy L. - head on over!

Here is the full hop list in case you get lost:

On Cherry Street Debut!

If you are looking for my Crafter's Companion Bebunni New Release post, please scroll down or click here.

Hi!
Today is the day that we can finally share the big news - Sweet Stamp Shop is branching out into the Kit world! Yep! So, if you love to do pocket scrapbooking (and even if you don't!), you are going to want to get your hands on these kits.

The new line is called On Cherry Street and as mainly a card maker, I love it.  It's perfect to use the cards and embellies in my card making ventures... And it also forced me to actually sit down and make a page, which I have been wanting to do for ages.

I also used stamps from the new Dragon set and the Princess set (my daughter is in love with those gems). Everything coordinates together and it's awesome.  It takes the work out of everything for me.  I didn't have to search for things that would work well together - all of the stamps and the kit (which also has an exclusive stamp set in it and the stamps fit PERFECTLY on the wood veneers) are made for each other.  Woo hoo!!!

So, make sure you check out the Sweet Blog today for all of the inspiration.  And did I mention that this kit is priced to sell? Yep - my frugal heart loves it!!!
