BIC #56

As soon as I saw this picture, I knew I'd use the cute boat from Nap Time and a pattern from Bitty Borders to create my card.  I added some vellum to give the effect of those soft ripples in the water and also used the clouds from Once Upon a Time!

A Pop Up Card Video

Hi! I've created another Pop Up card using some sets from The Alley Way Stamps (Lighter Than Air, Speak Easy and Once Upon A Time).

I'm sharing a video showing how I created this card!

The card dimensions are 4.25 x 8.50 (folded at the 4.25).  I measured and marked the center of the card and then measured out a half inch each way (so the total width between the slits is 1 inch).

I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

Always A Princess...

For my Lawnscaping Post, please click this link or head on over to Lawnscaping to check it out!!!!

Hi!
I love the Once Upon a Time set from The Alley Way Stamps.  It always makes me think of Disney and princesses.  I decided to use Sleeping Beauty's castle in Disneyland as my color inspiration.

I colored it in with Spectrum Noir Markers (PP1, PP3, IG1, IG3, IG5, BT2, BT4, PP5, CT3, GB7, GB9). It needed some shimmer, so I stamped the fireworks and the stars from Enchanted in Delicata Golden Glitz ink and I added some Memento Fireworks to the card base.

I created the sentiment using Gabfest.

I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: A Is For.  My take on this is that A is for ALWAYS a princess! :)

Fairy Tale Magic....

I'm up on the Party Time Tuesdays blog today, sharing one of my favorite projects! :)

I created a gift card holder that doubles as a Fairy Tale book.  As soon as I saw the Once Upon A Time set (by The Alley Way Stamps), I knew exactly what to do with it!

I colored it in using Spectrum Noir markers and I was inspired by Cinderella's castle in Disneyworld (I have my own 4 year old "princess" at home, so I pretty much live and breathe Disney these days!).  I created the background using Distress Inks.

And, of course, I had to make a matching tag, too! The "Party" sentiment comes from the Party Animal set.

I even made sure the "spine" had writing on it to make it look like a real book.  :)

Party Time Tuesdays is a GREAT blog for inspiration! We have challenges, too! Head on over!
