Fairy Tale Magic....

I'm up on the Party Time Tuesdays blog today, sharing one of my favorite projects! :)

I created a gift card holder that doubles as a Fairy Tale book.  As soon as I saw the Once Upon A Time set (by The Alley Way Stamps), I knew exactly what to do with it!

I colored it in using Spectrum Noir markers and I was inspired by Cinderella's castle in Disneyworld (I have my own 4 year old "princess" at home, so I pretty much live and breathe Disney these days!).  I created the background using Distress Inks.

And, of course, I had to make a matching tag, too! The "Party" sentiment comes from the Party Animal set.

I even made sure the "spine" had writing on it to make it look like a real book.  :)

TAWS BE Inspired #35

Hi!
I love using my Alley Way Stamps, so I had to play along with the current BE Inspired Challenge!!!

And my take, using some simple images from the Party Animal set:

I die cut the number 35 and stacked it up on that little shelf I created, too, just to add some balance to the card.

I had so much fun with this one - the color scheme isn't one I'd normally do and I loved the challenge!

BE Inspired # 27

Hi!
I'm playing along with The Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired # 27 Challenge.  Here is the inspiration:

And here is my take:

I used the lion from Party Animal and mixed the sentiment from the same set and Admit One.  I popped the lion up with some foam adhesive.  The sentiment is heat embossed so it would really pop!
