A Little Bit Magical Layout

Hi! I wanted to share the process I went through to create this simple and fun scrapbook layout! I pulled out my 3D Crystal Lacquer and placed some on waxed paper to make some custom enamel dots.

Once they were dry, I pulled out my Spectrum Noir markers (BT4, LV2) and colored a few in.  This way, I knew they would match perfectly!

They look messy on the waxed paper, but they are nice and clean on the actual layout.  I just adhere them with Collal Tacky glue.

I lightly traced a square with a pencil and then stamped the beautiful feather from Sheena's A Little Bit Magical: Knowledge.  Then I traced over the pencil with a black pen and erased the lines.

I gently took a waterbrush and mixed it with two Distress Inks (Broken China and Milled Lavender).  I purposely 'painted' behind the feather - I didn't want it to be exact.  I love the look of that watercolor effect.

I added a few splatters to finish it off and then the sweet picture of my daughter.  The sentiment "Happiness" is also from the same Sheena set as the feather (Sheena's A Little Bit Magical: Knowledge).

Thanks for stopping by!

Love Potion No. 9

Hi!
The card I have today is Halloween-inspired! I used the glass and sentiment from Sheena's A Little Bit Magical: Knowledge.

I think the sentiment is too much fun and even though this isn't a traditional Halloween set, it's versatile enough to use for Halloween!

I stamped the image used Memento Tuxedo Black in and I colored it in using my Spectrum Noir Markers (DG2, DG3, TB1, TB3).  I fussy cut it out and adhered it to the back of the card.  For the card base, I die cut the base out and then cut a piece of patterned paper the width of the stock and adhered it to the back of the card's inside.  I also die cut some hearts and stars to pop out of the glass.

Thanks for stopping by!

Best Wishes!

Hi!
I'm still playing around with the amazing Sheena's A Little Bit Magical: Knowledge set! Feathers are so on trend right now and this set has a fabulous feather included, so I had to use it.

I colored in the feather using my Spectrum Noir markers (GT1, GT3, CR2, CR4, TN3, TN4) and I then I used them on some clear bling so they would match perfectly.  I used Tuxedo Memento Black to stamp everything so it's crisp and clean. This ink works perfectly with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I distressed the edges and inked them up with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Everything was adhered using the CC Permanent Tape Runner.

Thanks for stopping by!

Love {Books} Always

Hi!
I love books.  And I love my Sheena's A Little Bit Magical: Knowledge stamp set.

I colored the books in using my Spectrum Noir Markers (CG1, CG3, BGR2, BGR3, BT2, BT4, GT2, GT3, BGR1, True Black) and fussy cut it out.  I adhered it to some patterned paper and also die cut some hearts out of the same stock.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Bit of Knowledge

Hi! I have a fabulous card to share today!

I used the Sheena's A Little Bit Magical: Knowledge set.  I LOVE the books in the set! They are so perfect for me.  I'm an avid reader, so I can't get enough of this set.

To color the books in, I used my Spectrum Noir Markers (BG1, BG3, BT1, BT2, BT3, BT4, BT5, BT7, BY8, BT9, BT6).  I also used Darice ABC embossing folder to partially emboss the background of the card.

A Little Bit... Magical

Hi! I wanted to share a card I created using the amazing Sheena's A Little Bit Magical: Knowledge set.  Just wowzers.  I love this stamp set!

It was really hard to decide which images to stamp first since I love them all!

I stamped the feather and then carefully cut out around it so it would stand out a little bit.  I colored it in with my Spectrum Noir markers. Then I stamped the ink bottle in Memento Tuxedo black (and added some Memento Delicata Golden Glitz to the center).  The sentiment was also stamped in Golden Glitz.

I inked up the edges with some Vintage Photo Distress ink and I added some twine that I knotted at the bottom.

Spectrum Noir's used: BT2, BT3, BT4 (feather), TN3, TN5, BGR1, BT1, blender (bottle and shadows).
