Love Letter Dies with Spellbinders!

Hi!
I wanted to share a few cards I created using some fantastic dies from Spellbinders, available on Scrapbook.com!

I wanted to use the Spellbinders D-Lites Love Letter die in two different ways.  I love using dies that I am able to stretch and use for different projects.

For my first card, I wanted to really have that envelope be the focal point, so I foiled it.  I die cut it from a toner sheet and ran it through my laminator to adhere the foil.

Then I die cut the different sized hearts out of pink cardstock.  I love how it looks like the hearts arefloating out the envelope when it's opened up.

For my second card, I wanted to put some sequins in that darling little envelope.  I die cut some vellum and added in heart sequins, then sealed the edges with adhesive.

Next, I wanted to use the heart dies as stencils.  I die cut them out of printer paper and held them into place while I used a dauber to add color with ink.  Turning die cuts into stencils is just one more way to stretch your dies! I added color to the background using Distress Oxide Inks.

Love, Set, Match with Spellbinders!

Hi!
I'm so excited to be able to share two cards I made using the Match Book Shapeabilites detailed cutting die from Spellbinders, available on Scrapbook.com!

For my first card, I created a shaker card using a smaller die from the set.  I also die cut a bunch of keys from the adorable key die that is included.  I filled up the shaker with heart sequins too.  This is too perfect for Valentine's Day!

The two windows are divided so they shake separately.

My second creation isn't a card! I loved the match die so much, so I decided to make a mini book for my daughter and I to use.  I stamped images on several pages.  We will pull out the pages, color them and write notes on them.  We love to leave each other notes in random places all the time, so she absolutely loved this idea!

The matchbook is so easy to use.  I die cut it with my Platinum 6 and added color using ink daubers.  I trimmed several sheets of printer paper to fit into the book and then stamped images on them using black ink.  These are for us to tear out, color and use to leave each other fun notes!

To attach everything, I used my Tiny Attacher.  I just adore this die set.  I think there are so many fun things I can create with it (mini albums or even a coupon book)!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Snowflakes, Snowflakes and more Snowflakes with Spellbinders (VIDEO)!

Hi!
I'm super excited to share some cards (and a video) with you today! I used the new Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting machine along with the Shapeabilites Snowflake Snippets die.  These amazing products are available on Scrapbook.com!

For the first card, I foiled like a mad woman! Even though these dies are very intricate, the Platinum 6 cuts through them like butter.  I die cut these out of Peel N Stick Toner Sheets and ran them through a laminator with some Lapis Watercolor DecoFoil.  They are just beautiful!!!

I added a little Pumice Stone Distress Ink to soften up the harsh white background and adhered the panel to another Toner Sheet I had foiled.

The snowflakes really shine and pop on this card!

Next up, I created a shaker card using the same die.  And... I made a video, too!!!

I know shaker cards can seem a bit scary and intimidating, but they really aren't! In the video below, see how easy it is to create a quick shaker!

Easy peasy, right? Don't let shakers scare you away! With fun and beautiful dies, it really does make it that much simpler.  Plus, the Tool N One is almost necessary; without it, removing all of the pieces would be such a pain in the neck.  But with it, I am no longer afraid to cut with detailed dies!
