Lawnscaping Challenge #57

Hi!
Another Lawnscaping Challenge has gone live! Woo hoo!

This time, get ready to bling it up!

We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp (LOVE them) and the winner of this challenge gets a Simon Says Stamp Gift Certificate!

Simon Says Stamp

I knew right away I wanted to use the fireflies from the Summertime Charm set.  I could just imagine them in my head with sparkles on them! So, I stamped the sentiment and then started with the fireflies from the bottom of the card and worked my way up.  I added their glows in with a light yellow VersaMark ink.  I filled in the empty spots with the stars from Summertime Charm and the teeny tiny stars from Plus One.  I added some bling (colored in with Spectrum Noir markers to match perfectly) and used an inker to darken the edges so it gave a feeling of dusk on my card (when fireflies come out).  I also added Ice Stickles and I sprayed the card with some clear shimmer mist.

Clean and simple, but fun!

Now, pop on over to the Lawnscaping Blog to play along.  We have TWO fantastic designers this month, Tenia Nelson and Lenny Sacreas, so you don't want to miss out on the extra inspiration!

Lawnscaping Challenge #53: Texture

Hi! Happy Monday and welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge!

EEEE! Texture! I love, love, love using my embossing folders, so I was excited about this one!  We are sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp for this challenge.

And the guest designer is Jess Larsen! She's amazing - go and check her blog out!!!

Onto my card...

I used an embossing folder to add some texture to the bottom of the card.  And I also took a stylus and popped up the seeds in the fruits, then covered them with Glossy Accents.

I used the new Lawn Fawn set Summertime Charm and papers from the Pink Lemonade Petite Paper pack.

Pop on over to the Lawnscaping Blog to play along!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
