Fall is Here (Kind of)!!!!

Today I have a Halloween Project! Did you know that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays? Fall is my favorite time of year!!! In fact, this blog is titled Harvest Moon Papiere because Harvest Moons happen in the Fall.  Oh, and my birthday is in October, so that helps me like the season, too!!! :-)

OK, enough about me, time for the card!

I used my Silhouette to cut out the card base and then I stamped each pumpkin piece with Poppy Field Summer in watercolor ink.  Then I went back in and used Large Polka Dot Background in orange and I inked up all of the edges.  I adhered the pieces to the base using foam adhesive.  For the stem, I used alcohol markers to create the shaded look.

My original idea was to also add in a Jack O Lantern face to make it more Halloween-ish and less Fall-ish, but it was so pretty without it, I couldn't bear to add it in.  I just love the subtle look of the poppie silhouettes in the background.  LOVE.
