Lawnscaping Challenge 106: Sponsored by Lawn Fawn

Hi and welcome back to another Lawnscaping Challenge! This time, we are all trying a new technique!

We are sponsored by the always amazing Lawn Fawn! They are sponsoring this challenge with a free stamp set of the winner's choice! We just heart them!

I decided to to try to color directly onto a stamp using my Spectrum Aqua markers.  Normally, I scribble on a block and add water to color in an image.  I've never colored directly onto the stamp! I love the results. I just used a water brush to blend the colors a bit and correct what didn't stamp perfectly.

I used the Stuck on You set and the coordinating Lawn Cut.  I placed the pot into the card as an inlaid die cut and I popped up the succulent using foam adhesives.

I hope you'll play along with us and give a new technique a try!

  3. LOVE this! Thanks for sharing! Do you think this would be possible with distress inks? I don't have the Spectrum Aqua markers, but would like to achieve a similar result.

    1. It might not be exactly the same, but you can get a similar look with Distress Inks, too. Thank you for the sweet comments! :)
