Sparkle Leaves!

Hi!
Have you tried the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens yet from Crafter's Companion? If you haven't, I suggest you give them a try.  Today, I want to share how I used the Crystal Clear pen as a blending tool instead of water, along with my Spectrum Aquas.

I scribbled my Spectrum Aqua colors (Bed Green, Moss, Leaf Green, Kingfisher, Aquamarine) onto an Acrylic Block, as I normally would.  BUT, instead of using water or a waterbrush, I grabbed my Crystal Clear Pen and used that instead.  I was able to pick up the color with that pen and then basically paint onto my stamped images (stamp set used was Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy Autumn Leaves).  To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Stamp It Australia: Scattered Thoughts set.

It's really hard to capture the sparkliness on camera, but in the above image, you can kind of see how shimmery it is.  The finished look is that soft, watercolor look, but will all kinds of shimmer and shine added to it.

Thanks for stopping by today!
