Catherine Pooler x Pear Blossom Press!!!

Hi!

Welcome to the Catherine Pooler Designs x Pear Blossom Press Collab Hop! We're sharing fun, interactive cards that will really brighten your day. They feature awesome new stamps and dies from Catherine Pooler Designs, and with help from Pear Blossom Press, they all really light up! Be sure to hop along with us for loads of inspiration; our designers have come up with some brilliant cards!

I created two cards using Bright Days stamp set and coordinating dies for these cards.  They were perfect to use with the Pear Blossom Press EZ Lights and Halo Lights.  

I stamped the images, colored them in and die cut them.  Then, I decided where they would lay on the card panel.  I die cut the areas where the bulbs would sit.  I added the batteries and placed the lights down.  I couldn't believe how easy it was to use the EZ Lights! I was actually pretty nervous about it at first, but it was so easy! Then I placed the lights down and held them in place with tape.

I tested the lights before completing and assembling the card to make sure the positioning was OK.

I used the My Favorite Things Interactive Labels stamp to show how to light everything up and where to press.  Then, I assembled the cards using Heffy Doodle foam from Pear Blossom.

Now, onto my creation!!!! I had a ton of fun creating this card! It's no secret I love to heat emboss, so for this card, I used All That Jazz and Be Mine embossing powders from the Forever 13 Embossing Trio.  I just love how they coordinate with the inks! Swoon!

I inked up some plain premium white cardstock with watermark ink and then added the embossing powder to create those sparkly strips.  And for the pom pom and stars on the skates, I used a watermark pen to color them in, then added the embossing powder. Fun, huh?

Therm O Web and Gina K. Holiday Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Gina K. Stamp N Foil Holiday Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Audrey's blog!

I used the Holly Jolly and the Baby It's Cold Outside collections for these cards.

To create the background, I used DecoFoil Transfer Gel, along with the Brilliant Blue foil.  Aren't the snowflakes fantastic? By using the Stamp N Foil system, I simply stamped and then foiled the pieces.  

On this card, I used the Red Velvet Decofoil.  The sentiment was stamped onto vellum.
