Crafter's Companion September Challenge

Hi!
The current Crafter's Companion Challenge is Autumn! You can enter and find out more details HERE.

For this creation, I used Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy Flower Power and the Sentimentals Imagine set.  I inked up the edges using Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Everything was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color in that beautiful flower (OR1, OR2, OR3, TN3, TN5).  I hope you'll play along!

Crafter's Companion May Challenge

Hi! Have you played along in the May Crafter's Companion Challenge yet? The theme is masculine.

I always have a tough time with masculine cards because so many of my stamp sets are more feminine.  But, the Everyday Sentimentals: Love is all you Need is perfect for any card, so I used that!  I inked everything up with Tuxedo Black in and added some splatters with spray mist to give the card a little extra something.

February Challenge at Crafter's Companion

Hi! Have you played along yet with the Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge? The theme this month is CAS (Clean and Simple), which is one of my favorites!

The circular sentiment is from Sentimentals Imagine and the little butterfly is from Mulberry Woods Relax.  He was colored in using Spectrum Noir Makers (CT1, CT4, IG1).

I used Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender) to create the subtle ombre effect on the die cut piece.

Crafter's Companion Hearts Challenge

Hi!
Have you played along with the Crafter's Companion Challenge yet this month? The theme for January is hearts!

I created this card using the Sentimentals: Imagine and Stamp It: French Travels sets. I stamped the sentiment in Delicata Golden Glitz and the image in Distress Ink Pumice Stone.

Then I sprayed the background with some gold glimmer mist and die cut some white hearts to place over the mist. I love the effect it gives!

November Challenge Time!

Hi! Have you played along with the Crafter's Companion November Challenge yet? If not, you have until the end of November! You can win a gift certificate to the store, so play along! The theme is Christmas/Winter!

To create my card, I heat embossed the Stamp It Holiday: Linear Baubles in white and then colored them in with Spectrum Noirs (DR1, DR5, DR6, LG3, LG5, CT2, CT4, BG3, BG4, GG1, Blender).  I went back in with the blender and removed some of the excess ink that was on the embossed lines.  It worked like a charm and brightened up the white embossing!

Then I stamped the sentiment from Sentimentals: Mistletoe Kisses in Pumice Stone and also sponged the same color around the edges.  I needed to soften the bright white paper a little bit.  :)

To complete the card, I added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the ornaments and let it dry overnight. I also used the lacquer to adhere the sequins.

October Challenge: Baby Themed!

Hi!
The new challenge is up at the Crafter's Companion Challenge site! The theme for October is to create a Baby Themed project.

I colored in this darling little Bamboo (from Party Paws: Baby Bamboo) using Spectrum Noir markers (BG1, BG6, BG9, CT3, CT4, TB2, TB4, TB5, Blender).  I thought it would be fun to selectively deboss my shaped card using the Embossalicious Petite Dots embossing folder (I just flipped it over to deboss instead of embossing).

I colored in some bling with my Spectrum Noirs (TB5)so everthing matched perfectly and I die cut some stars to give more dimension to the card.

Crafter's Companion August Challenge

Hi! Have you played along with the August Challenge yet? The theme is Animals!

For my creation, I used this darling set from the newly released Barkley Christmas collection! This is the Festive Fun set and I paired it along with some Christmas papers that I've been hoarding.

I inked all of the edges with the amazing Memento Delicata Golden Glitz ink (coming very soon to the CC store).  Once this is available, you are going to want to get your hands on it.  It is AMAZING! The images were colored in with my fabby Spectrum Noir Markers (Colors Used:  IG4, IG8, IG9, IG10, GG1, PP2, PP4, LG4, LG5, IB1, IB2, TB1, EB1, EB2, IG1, IG2, DR4, DR6, Blender).
