Party Time!

Hi! I hope your week has been going well!

I have a fun CAS card to share today using SP & Company stamps and ink!

I really love the new Premium Chalk ink.  The stars (from All Zipped Up) and stamped in Flamingo Pink and they just happen to match papers from past Monthly Kit Clubs at SP!

I die cut the hexagons and then selectively stamped some of the sentiments from the Happy Banners set.

Thanks for stopping by!

SP Trends Challenge #3

Hi! Are you ready for another SP Trends Challenge? The theme this time is Handmade Hearts, just in time for Valentine's Day.

I have been challenging myself to do more of the white-on-white and I think I'm getting better! For this card, I used the hearts and circles from the Tiny Build A Banner set and the sentiment from Happy Banners.

I think the circles popping up are a fun design element.

Now, it's your turn to play along and win! Head on over to the Scrapmaster's Blog for the contest details and the InLinkz entry!

Thanks for stopping by!

High Five!

Hi!
I have a CAS card today to share! I used some papers from the SP & Company January Kit, which are super cute.  I also used a sentiment from the new Happy Banners set.

I cute the card in half and placed the patterned paper underneath it before adhering it back together.  Then I stamped the sentiment on the cute airplane paper - I thought the "High Five" sentiment was appropriate for an airplane!

Fun, huh?

Remember, Kit Club Memberships are available and once you are a Kit Club Member, you also receive a discount in the SP & Company Store for other items, plus free shipping along with anything you want to add to your monthly kit shipment! Sending Thanks

I have a fun one for you today! I am loving this Happy Banners set from SP & Company!

The banner was die cut from the beautiful paper pack from My Mind's Eye called Oliver Lost and Found.  This is just so elegant and beautiful.  And how sweet is that sentiment?!

I also used some circle dies I had to deboss the stock and some spray mist to add a little something extra.  The butterfly was an embellishment I had in my stash.  It matched the paper perfectly, so I wanted to use it.

Do you know that SP has a monthly Kit Club? It's true!!! There are a few different levels of the club and they are all very affordable.  Click HERE to see what was in the January Kit.   They sell out fast, so sign up now for the February Kit!!!!

SP Trends Challenge #2

Hi!
We're back with another Trends Challenge! This time, the trend we are challenging you to use is Hexagons! I looovvveee Hexagons, so I was pretty excited about this one!

And here's my take:

I thought it would be fun to have the center of the sun from my Falling For Autumn set pop out a little bit, so I used my 3/4 inch punch to add some hexagon patterned paper to the center.

For the sentiment, I used one from the new Happy Banners set.  I love it when all of my SP stamps work together!!!

Pop on over to Sami's blog for the full details of the challenge.  You have just under two weeks to play along - she has an InLinkz button for you to link up and share your new Hexagon project with the world!

Thanks for stopping by!

SP January Release Day

Welcome! I am really excited to share the creations I've made with the newest SP & Company stamp set, Happy Banners!

I have been bitten by the chalkboard technique bug.  :-)  I stamped on black stock and heat embossed the images, then I added some white ink and while colored pencil to finish up the tag.  I just love the banners and the sentiments! I also used some images from the In Love Emma set, Tiny Build A Banner and the Rain Boots stamp set.  I love how all of my SP stamps work together!!!

For my second project, I used some Washi tape to highlight the banner.  I thought it would be fun to use super bright colors and to add that spray mist in the corner.  It did get kinda bunched up, but I think that just gives it more character!!!

And here is a close up of the banner and sentiment:

Yesterday, I did a sneak peek of another card I made with this set HERE.

Now, onto the rest of the DT's blogs! Make sure you stop by each blog to leave some love and don't forget to check out Sami's Blog, too, for the contests that she's running!!! There are so many chances to win SP products this month!!!

The set I used is called Happy Banners and it's wonderful! There are so many fantastic sentiments and multiple banners included.  I thought it would be fun for this card to make a more graphic card using the banners.

Pop on over to the Scrapmaster's Blog today to see what she has to share and don't forget to come back here on the 10th for the Blog Hop!
