Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers!

Hi!
I was inspired to use my Sparkle Markers by THIS tutorial on the Spectrum Noir website.

I love using my Sparkle Markers! I even ordered some for my daughter and now she is obsessed, too! I just love the sheen and shine and the fact that they blend well together.

To create this card, I used Crystal Clear, Peony, Sterling Silver, Emerald Green, Sea Breeze, Sage, and Soft Jade Sparkle Markers.  I used the Crystal Clear to help blend the pink (Peony) highlight around the succulent image.

Thanks for stopping by today!

The badge image is so pretty!!! I pulled out some Stampin Up stamps that I've had in my stash and finally used them for the first time.

I used some Hero Arts shadow inks to create the background.  I inked up the large image with two different greens to create a nice effect.  Then I sponged the background with two different VersaMagic colors.  I love creating my own patterned paper.

I hope you will play along with us - I love seeing all of the projects and we all look at every single entry!!!!

Pinspired Challenge #8

It's time for another Pinspired Challenge!

We are sponsored by Timeless Twine:

Check out their blog for fantastic inspiration!

Now, onto my card:

I used an older Hero Arts cupcake stamp I had and colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers.  Since the sentiment referred to sprinkles, I drew a few in and used  some Aqua Delight Timeless Twine to create the rest of them on the cupcake! I was inspired by the image of the cake to use this stamp.  I also selectively embossed the bottom of the card - I loved the texture on the cake in the inspiration picture!

I hope you'll play along with us - pop on over to the Pinspired Blog to see all of the DT creations!

BE Inspired #17

I'm back again, playing along with the BE Inspired Challenge #17.

The bright pink with the green scared me at first - I rarely go bright.  So, I pulled out my Spectrum Noir markers, crossed my fingers, and went with it!

I was pleasantly surprised with the result of the pink and green together! I picked this (freebie) tree to use because I thought the circles emulated the ornament really well.  I also did the sunburst in honor of the different ribbons.  I kept it clean and simple, but I think it really works.

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure to check out all of the other entries and creations over at The Alley Way Stamps Blog!
