Pinspired Challenge #24

Welcome to the last Pinspired Challenge!

We are sponsored by Fresh Squeezed Stamps! Their stamps are SO cute! Check out their blog, too, for more inspiration.

For my card, I knew from the start that I wanted to use The Alley Way Stamps set, Holiday Sparkles.  I stamped each snowflake, using different Memento inks and then I covered it with vellum.  I heat embossed some stars (Jolly Holiday) and another snowflake on top the the vellum.  This softens the large snowflakes and gives a cool, 3D effect with the white on white look!

I hope you will play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Pinspired Challenge #22

Hi! Welcome back to another Pinspired Challenge!!!

We are sponsored by Xyron! I love their adhesives - I used them to create the card below!

This card was created using this die and stencil from Simon Says Stamp, plus the super cute sentiment and image from The Alley Way Stamp's set Tropical Hideaway.

The cutie Toucan was colored in with Spectrum Noir markers (Blender, OR1, OR2, OR3, IG2, IG5, IG9, CT4, True Black).  I created my own glossy accents using Enamel Accents from Ranger and then coloring them in with CT4.

I hope you will play along with us!

Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black
Spray: Studio Calico

Pinspired Challenge #21

Hi! Welcome back to another Pinspired Challenge!

We have a fabulous prize pack this time around, provided by our very own Lalo!

Check out all of those goodies (fibers are May Arts) and play along to win!

I used the color scheme from the inspiration picture and I also loved all of the little dots, so I added the splatters with my Studio Calico spray mist.  I decided to make the little pie slice a non-normal color for two reasons: 1. Because I could (HA!) and 2. The inspiration picture.  It was colored in using my Spectrum Noir markers (LV1, PP2, PP4, GT2).

The stamps are from Lawn Fawn's Happy Feast and the banner is actually a tag die from Tag, You're It that I cut down.  All of the little hearts and stars are from this Simon Say Stamp die.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn
Dies: Lawn Fawn, Simon Says Stamp
Paper: Cougar, Bazzill
Ink: Memento
Markers: Spectrum Noir
Spray: Studio Calico Mister Huey's Spray Mist
Other: Cuttlebug
Adhesives: Xyron, Crafter's Companion

I wanted to make sure to have that banner and a representation of those lights in my card, so I created a banner using Lawn Fawn patterned paper and added some enamel dots in between each banner.

Those super cute pumpkins are from the Paper Smooches Spookalicious set.  I colored them in with Spectrum Noir markers.  I added the spray for a finishing touch.  Since the picture looks like it was taken around dusk, I though black spray mist was appropriate!

Pinspired Challenge #18

Hi! Today starts a new Pinspired Challenge!

We are sponsored by Pink Hippo (store located HERE).

Pink Hippo was a name I picked out years ago when I first thought I might want to dabble in the clear stamp business. I have the most supportive husband in the world and anything I have ever wanted to do he has been behind 100%. I have a 27 year old daughter who is my world and that is where the name came in. Her last name is Hipp and when she was growing up we always collected hippo things, preferably pink!

I am a retired business owner and didn't start crafting until about 3-4 years ago when I retired from my business so I am a late bloomer. I have always felt like a crafty/creative person and was so excited to think I may have an avenue for it. I got my first cricut die cutting machine and just started playing around and was hooked.

I didn't actually start stamping much until the past two years. I love stamps and thought I would like to see more on the market that are more on the humorous side because I love humor. I had tossed around the idea of stamps for years but just decided to jump in and just have fun! I love halloween so much that I decided that had to be the first thing I worked on.

I made some cute little tags for this one! I used the new Lawn Fawn Into the Woods stamp set along with the Winter Gifts tag stamp and coordinating die (Tag, You're it).  I created the dots in the back using Trim the Tree.  Everything was colored in with my Spectrum Noir markers.

I hope you'll play along with us! The winner gets this stamp set:

Thanks for stopping by!

Challenge # 17

Hi!

If you are looking for my project for Kelly Marie's Birthday Blog Hop, please scroll down
or click HERE!

I'm here with a new Pinspired Challenge!

We are sponsored by Whisker Graphics!

Whisker Graphics is the creative out-pouring of Whitney Beard. Founded in June of 2008, Whisker Graphics was a long time in the making. Whitney's love of design and paper goods started when, as a child, she would save her allowance to buy sales receipt booklets and bookkeeping journals (oh, those grids made her little heart skip a beat!) and progressed over the years to include a degree in Graphic Design and the appreciation of all things paper and crafty.

In the Fall of 2009 Whitney created Divine Twine™, bakers twine in yummy colors, and introduced it to the market. In Spring of 2011 she created Bitty Bags™, fun paper bags in a variety of designs and sizes. Since then she has created the ever-popular Sweet Stickys, introduced a new line of Solid Colored Twine and added some fabulous Colored Tags as perfect complements to all of the Whisker Graphics products.

This card was created using stamps from Crafter's Companion Stamp It Collection: Floral Fancies and Spectrum Noir Markers.

I used colors CR2, CR3, CR5, CR6, DR1, LG3, OR2 and CT3 to color in the flower and everything was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The sentiment is from the Crafter's Companion UK Magazine subscription.

I hope you will play along with us for a chance to win.  Just visit the Pinspired Blog for more details and the more inspiration!!!!

The badge image is so pretty!!! I pulled out some Stampin Up stamps that I've had in my stash and finally used them for the first time.

I used some Hero Arts shadow inks to create the background.  I inked up the large image with two different greens to create a nice effect.  Then I sponged the background with two different VersaMagic colors.  I love creating my own patterned paper.

I hope you will play along with us - I love seeing all of the projects and we all look at every single entry!!!!
