BIC #52

Hi!

You still have time to play along with the current BE Inspired Challenge!

I love the look of watercolored and washed out backgrounds! For this card, I used some Distress Inks with water and Awesome Blossom, Petal Pushers along with Speak Easy!

I hope you will play along with us!

I'm entering this into the Elisabeth Bell's Word Challenge: Flowers.

Hello There, Vellum Flower!

Hi! I have a fun card I created using some stamps from The Alley Way Stamps!

I stamped the flower and leaves from the Flower Doodles set onto vellum and heat embossed it in white.  Then I used some Distress Markers along with water to create a translucent watercolor effect.

I used some black spray mist and a stencil to create the background and the sentiment is from Petal Pushers.

I'm entering this card in V's Sweet Ideas Anything Goes Challenge!

BE Inspired!

Hi!
I am finally settling into our new home, so I've been able to create again! Yay!!!! I wanted to play along in the Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired Challenge #33.  It's been a while since I've been able to play along and I've missed it!

I'm also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes!

I was inspired by the grey in the image above to color in the main image only in grey scale! I thought it would be pretty cool.  I added the three yellow balls because of the inspiration image and because I wanted that pop of yellow.  :)

I used the clown from Admit One and the sentiment is from Petal Pushers.

Everything was colored in using Spectrum Noir markers.

Thanks for stopping by!

BE Inspired # 28

Hi! I'm playing along with The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge again!

The image is so soft and sweet, so I used some My Mind's Eye papers and heat embossed one of the beautiful flowers from the Petal Pushers set.

I added the sentiment in black since there was the black chair sitting in the picture.  I tried to keep the same soft, shabby feel that the picture conveyed to me.

Thanks for stopping by!

BE Inspired #24

Hi!
I got crafty today and made a card for the current Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired Challenge!

As soon as I saw this picture, I knew I wanted to pair watercolors and vellum for my card.  Those pictures in the background were just screaming for watercolors!!!

I stamped the flowers from Petal Pushers on vellum with VersaMark, then heat embossed them in white and used watercolor pencils with a water pen to color them in.  Then I cut them out.  I love how they are see-through!

And since there are green stripes in the picture, I added some green sequins for an extra touch!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will play along in the current challenge!
